A Evening Gathering (Day 3 Mid Evening)

[Moshi Meiko]

Sen couldn’t help but blush a little at the prospect of a slow dance with Meiko, who was being far too humble. “I’m as ready as I can be, Moshi-san.”

There is much happy bouncing from Meiko before she turns to Naida
"Hiruma-san has kindly agree to dance with me, so we're going to go do that, but you should dance too, it's not really a party unless there's dancing!"
And with that Meiko grabs Sen's sleeve and runs over to the central area where several other samurai were already going at it.

"Okay, we'll start slow, like this!"
Meiko smiles up at Sen before extending one palm up, then slowly raising the other to mimic holding something between them. Then the moshi rotates her whole body left and right, gently bumping Sen's hip with her own.
"Nice and slow."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"'Strike when the opportunity presents itself,' as I have heard many sensei say" comes Yuuwaku's swift reply to the last.

She adds, audibly, "I would be delighted to hear either or both of you, of course. Although had I known there would be more, perhaps I would have danced later?"

"I suppose it's a bit of a shame then that I'm already entertainign later this evening." The Captain replied, his eyes on the Crane. "A host can't exactly disappear from a gathering like this either.

"I think you likely choose the best preformance to add to." Meiko had he had a good voice, but neither were likely to be as sweet as the ronins. "It will be the one people really remember from this evening.

His eyes shifted once again to Meiko, who seemed to be trying to dance with another woman. "It looks like I will be up next if anyone." He mused after seeing that.

[Amika]

She sketches a short bow in Amika's direction, the motion languid and graceful.

Amika notices from afar that Kakita Yuuwaku was bowing to her. That was not acceptable, at least not from the ronin. That a clan samurai bowed to her was such a sign of respect that Amika quickly returns the bow from afar, then approaches to the Kakita, and bows again, this time even lower.

'' Kakita Yuuwaku-sama. This one is humbled by the oportunity that you have honored this one and others, in being able to watch your beautifull performance. I'm honored.'' She bowed, again, as she praised the clan samurai

She also bowed to the Captain as he was close and talking to the Kakita. '' Tsuruchi-sama, you have honored me in allwing this one to participate in this event.''

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"I suppose it's a bit of a shame then that I'm already entertainign later this evening." The Captain replied, his eyes on the Crane. "A host can't exactly disappear from a gathering like this either.

She notes his glance, turns slightly to see events. That might be of interest, she thinks, and she says "I shall cheer for you, Tsuruchi-sama. Though it seems you will have your own dancers, too."

Then Amika approaches.

"Of course not, and it just gives us more to look forward to, doesn't it?" He offered in reply, part of his really did want to go see her private performance though.

As her next words he did manage a chuckle. "It seems so, though I don't know if they know others will be watching."

Amika arrived and the Captain offered her a bow. "Kakita-san is right, that was an enchanting performance Amika-san. It was my pleasure to be able to set the stage for a talent like yours to preform."

[Otomo Saisei]

Since everyone was approaching the Captain, so does Saisei. Hoping he had been noticed before with his bow, he smiles to greet verbally, "Tsuruchi-sama being busy means the party is certainly enjoyable. Minna-sama, I hope Inari-kami has blessed you all."

"I'm just trying to know more people, Yoritomo-sama. I was told by Yoko-san that you were friendly to her kind," she said as she looked to the other ronin.

Clearing his throat, he turned back to the two ronin. "Hah. Well. I don't know that I've ever been accused of being friendly..." Katsu chuckled dryly, "-but yeah, we're not the sorts to turn our noses up at ronin like some people do. Everyone deserves a chance."

"Yoritomo-sama here is a lot nicer than he'd really want to let you believe," she said on a laugh, glancing back from the performances. Good music, good dancing, from as far as she could appreciate and everyone about seemed in good enough spirits. Which was good enough for Yoko. "Good to see you branching out though, Yue-san. Funny to think how shy you seem and yet I'm always meeting you at celebrations, eh?" she smirked, shaking her head a little.

Watching the performance, Katsu seemed less scowly. Maybe. About 20%. For him, that was really good. At one point, he even smiled. A little. Let's not go crazy, here.

While Katsu was the first mate, he wasn't the captain and she didn't know the complete story regarding their dynamic of who really was in charge and who was the most generous. "I think the fact that so many people showed up and decided to pitch in is some reflection of that too."

She glanced to the Crane, figured that they would have thought twice with the high chance of sand getting in their sandals and tabi.

"Only too celebration so far, so it's only a coincidence..." Yue probably was going to kick herself for doing this but this was perhaps now than never. "I suppose speaking of chances...I was thinking since I don't really have many favours to give in return for your generosity, I could lend my help around your crew for your duration here. I know have already but I'd rather it be more on purpose than incidental."

The Crane womans comments rcieved a smile, his eyes moving between her and the Otomo for a moment. "I'm just pleased I was able to provide ample opportunity. Perhaps if time and interest remain My crew and I might have to host another event before our time here ends."

Arriving at the party, he is surprised to see it quite full. He directed himself to the flowers, admiring their strange beauty.
