Re: [Day 3 - LN] One Hundred Eyes of Death [Event]
The Ichiro tries his best, struggles, but his body still feels weaker when looking at the wretched thing, and it is far too strong and easily controls his initial hold on it.
OOC
D3 - LN - 100 eyes of death - Jiu/St reroll to control grapple... Just for the sake of it: 3d10o10k3 18 - actually this was the first roll, I'm just stupid and forgot I hadn't rolled yet, as you can see in the rolls log
D3 - LN - 100 eyes of death - whoops, that was the first roll actually, forgot I hadn't rolled. This is the reroll: 3d10o10k3 18 - so Two IDENTICAL rolls, both slightly below average for 3k3 exploding again.
Ok, thanks Orokos. This was a great run!
So: Monster controls the grapple then
Also: it should still have the rest of its turn, then it should be Ichiro's turn and then Naida's failed spear throw on round 4?

Re: [Day 3 - LN] One Hundred Eyes of Death [Event]
...Naida didn't really have any training with spears, but one threw harpoons, right? So she tried harpooning the thing, but her throw was pretty limp. Still, thanks to the wounded Badger's help, she did manage to hit the thing that was biting him.
Well, that was lovely Naida.

The creature howled and tried to paw at the harpoon as it sunk deep into the creature once more spilling more blue red blood.
OOC: Current wounds for the Creature is 45.

Re: [Day 3 - LN] One Hundred Eyes of Death [Event]
Taiki feels the claws rending him, feels himself now completely dominated by the monster.
I'm the back of his mind, he felt it. This was how it ended. Had ended already, even.
His body just hadn't felt it yet. He struggled some more, but felt his efforts, damped by the tricks his mind played on him, were probably too feeble.
Maybe the could at least distract the monster enough to give the others a chance...
-------------
OOC:
Grappled.
Contested roll
D3 - LN - 100 eyes of death - Contested Jiu/St for round 4. First roll: 3d10o10k3 13
D3 - LN - 100 eyes of death - Contested Jiu/St for round 4. seriously, 13? Reroll: 3d10o10k3 21 - still underwhelming but keeping this one.

The Hiruma snaps his arm back, and forward again, the light of his 30 foot long ribbon of fire glints off the ivory mempo he wears and the ever hungry fire kami call out in glee as they slam into the beast burning its flesh from its skin....

The creature reels from the fire and roared trying to tear the Badger apart but eventually it collapsed.
OOC: Damage: 2d10o10k1 19 the creature seems very weak to fire! 102 wounds total.
It is Dead.

Re: [Day 3 - LN] One Hundred Eyes of Death [Event]
The Badger releases the lifeless body of the hundred-eyed monster, stumbles two steps back, then looks down to himself.
He looks completely torn down. Somehow, his mind tries to inform him that he's dead, but he still stands.
He looks around. There doesn't seem to be anything he could use to do... Something about these wounds. They're too many, too deep. Too mortal.
"'S' done!", he bursts out, starting to feel the support of the Earth Kami fading a bit. "Looks bad...", he then says, hands holding his open chest as he looks to the Hiruma and Naida. "Heal?..." he says, still standing, but not for long.
----------
Edit: posting OOC info. Was on the go so it was harder to do.
Defense posture, TN 34
VP 0/2
39 damage taken -5 reduction from Armor = 34
Total wounds taken: 44+34= 78 wounds
Currently at 78/63, so quite dead except for Force of Will. Need 15 healing to stay completely out of it but alive at 63/63.
Force of Will is active until after Hiruma Roger's turn this round... So one chance to heal him back to life :p
Actions this turn: FA speak since no healing packs on me...

Re: [Day 3 - LN] One Hundred Eyes of Death [Event]
As the Ichiro begins to fall, the Earth Kami bolstering him fading Roger steps forward, "Not today cousin" And touches the Badgers shoulder, the fire whip still lighting the area. The cold fresh wave of water Kami flows from the Scorpion into the other samurai, closing the wounds and bringing him back from the Brink

The healing keeps the samurai from death before everything goes dark… and then [redacted until Day 4].
