Kaneko turns away from the image and gently pulls up her fan to cover the lower part of her face and any reaction she may have.

She lifts a cup to her mouth and then the vermin begin crawling in and she starts to choke and coughing loudly.

Still not finding anything, he nods. "It's tasteful for us to be reunited in such manner. If any of you would like song, I may take my biwa."
He should have brought it with him, he knew it, but left it on his room.

"You're a big one, you got some Crab in you?" Fuboshi asked.

"Oh, no, I don't. People do notice it here, though." They had always noticed. It's just here that they are rude enough to point it out. "Actually..."
He looks to Yushoko with worry. "Lady Yushoko!" He called attention, looking if the Crab would help her.

Kaneko puts down her fan and looks to the child, “Who is that child?”

She points as to not be mistaken for Kio.

Kio replied to Kaneko, "You can see Hitomi-chan?"

He looks to Yushoko with worry. "Lady Yushoko!" He called attention, looking if the Crab would help her.

Meanwhile the Crab daimyo rose and slapped Yushoko on her back in case she was choking. But did not seem to help as the woman collapsed onto the table drooling.

Kaneko can see insects crawl out of the Yushoko's mouth and the little girl is gone.

“Is that her name? She looks wet and altogether unsavory...” She added. As she scanned the room for where the child went.

Kio is about to respond when she sees Yushoko collapsed on the table and shrieked, "Auntie! Auntie!"

Upon seeing her falling on the table, he rushes to lift himself from his seat and pay her help.

What even happened to her? Would she be okay?

He looks to her, trying to analyze her face and at one time poking her with his fan, avoiding direct contact.

Yushoko is unresponsive, her eyes are glazed over and a frothy drool spills from her mouth.

“Piss on this, not letting a Crane kuge die under my watch, Yoji get the Kuni here,” she shouted.

“Be quick boy.”

Yoji did as commanded.

He wondered if the tea was poisoned. But who would do such...

"I hope Takeshi-san is quick." He says, oddly on his neutral face and voice. Not showing concern was what ons were made for.

OOC: It looks like poison or reaction to something like a deadly insect or other stinging creature. Though he did not see anything that could have gotten her but his thought of poison sounds about right as well.

"This is poison." He says, looking with fear on his eyes to everyone on the room. "Did anyone else take this tea? Kio-san... Did your aunt eat anything before coming here? Even at morning?"

[Daidoji Kio]

Kio shakes her head and said, "Poison? Is she dead!?"

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"She is not. The doctor is coming to heal her. She is just sick."

He knew not.

She turned back to Kio, “What do you know about that girl? Where have you seen her before?”

“She’s my friend, and she is lonely. She says she is looking for her parents and I am going to help her,” Kio responded tersely.

“But who cares, Auntie is sick!”

It is then that two Kuni samurai arrive looking concerned and grim. Kintaro was quick into the room as well.

Kaneko looked to Kio intently, “I think your friend might have made your auntie sick...”

She looked up to see what the Kuni were going to do.

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He looks to the two Kuni, still on his knees near the woman. "She has been poisoned! I think it was the tea!"

Meanwhile the Kuni knelt and examined the Crane bride to be and said grimly, “She is afflicted by some kind of toxin, let’s get her to a bed and see if we can make her comfortable.”

Kintaro frowned and said, “We have our own people, the Crab have done enough this day!”

[Hida Fuboshi]

“You watch your mouth you priss-ass, we had nothing to do with this, unlike your people threatening my son! Now don’t be stubborn and allow us to help,” she hissed back rising with anger.
