Bounced (D2, LE, Open)

[Otomo Saisei]

Not finding any other place to go this evening since the Hole was closed and he got bounced back by the guards, Saisei decides it is better not to drink as much as he did yesterday and instead take proper bath to relax and prepared for the next day.

[Ikoma Ren]

"Ahhh." Ren lets out a sound of relaxation and pleasure as he begins to strip down for the baths. He hadn't had the time for a proper bath last night, and though he had performed his morning ablutions it had been a while since he had managed a proper bath. "Far, far, far too long to wait"

[Otomo Saisei]

The Imperial opens a grin when he sees a fellow Lion. Perhaps the only one around. "Lion-sama. Good evening. How happy I am to see your colors."

[Ikoma Ren]

Ren offers a wide grin. "I think that's the first time I have heard anyone say that in quite a long time." He straighten a bit and bows. "Ikoma Ren, at your service. Alas, I am no "sama", please feel free to refer to me as "san""

[Otomo Saisei]

The Otomo provides a seated bow to honor the Lion and respect propriety. "An honor to meet your acquaintance. I am Otomo Saisei, humble assistant to the nakodo Otomo Yusuke. At your service."

[Ikoma Ren]

"The pleasure is mine!" Ren brightens, "Do you mind if I join you? It has been...kami, I don't want to speculate how long how long it has been since a heated bath. Too many mountain streams." The courtier chuckles.

[Otomo Saisei]

"By all means," He gestures to the warms waters, "It is always an honor to share good things with the Lion."

[Yoko]

In walked Yoko, scars and whatnot abound. Still she wore the cloth around her forearm wound about. Seeing the two already there she walked toward a part away from the two, "Don't mind me -sama's, I won't disturb you much, eh?" she said, in her passing. Slipping into the bath, lowering herself gingerly, and relaxing into her place.

[Ikoma Ren]

"I am happy to have someone like minded to share it with, especially a member of the Imperial family." Ren sinks in with an audible sigh of relief. "That's the stuff."

He relaxes for a few minutes. "How has your stay treated you so far Otomo-sama?"

Ren does a quick double take as the woman walks in fairly casually. Mixed bathing was far from taboo but it was a bit brazen... not that he minded the view.

"Greetings, I am Ikoma Ren"

"Oh! Welcome in, samurai-san. Hope Inari-kami has treated you well today."

He keeps his grin on –– helped by the improvements in the scenario –– to say, "Very good, so far. The Crab are odd and yet incredibly welcoming hosts. It was a fun afternoon. What about you, Ikoma-san... and you, samurai-san?"

[Yoko]

Looking up, Yoko dipped her head, "Was a good enough afternoon, interesting festival. Glad to hear everyone's enjoying themselves, eh?" she glanced between the two, seeing if she could catch the shift, "Yoko, is my name. Worked on the boat that brought you here, Otomo-sama. For- well, I guess a time at first but still have me on hand a while, eh?"

[Ikoma Ren]

"Ohhhhhhh!" Realization clicks for Ren.

How is it all the Ronin I've met so far are beautiful women? I mean, yay for that stereotype being wonderfully broken but WOW

"It seems that this village is a popular choice for those of the Waves Tomo-san, can I call you Tomo-san?"

Ren offers an appraising look that he earnestly tries to gauge the whole of the warrior joining them without ogling.

"If I might ask, how are your work prospects looking for after? I seem to have found myself bound to supervise another of your brethren during our stay, and her being engaged in honorable work afterwards would put my mind at ease."

[Yoko]

"Tomo-san? Ikoma-sama?" she asked, quirking her brow as she lay her arms crossed over her chest. "Whatever you want, Ikoma-sama. Just don't expect me to answer to it if we meet again, eh? As for your friend probably no luck there. I'm signed on with the Mantis for the time of this wedding and then I'm heading off on my own way. Back unto the waves, eh?" she said with a cocky smirk.

[Ikoma Ren]

"Whew the steam must be doing a number on me Yoko-san. I don't know where that name came from. And thank you for the information, but please forgive me, I've been rude to Otomo-sama."

Ren turns back to the Imperial. "The Crab have been wonderful hosts, even to one like me. And a great number of Ronin." Ren eyes Yoko again. "It seems Crab lands are a fairly favorable place, but I would have thought others would make a play to rebuild. I was even reminded... Otomo-sama, please correct me if I'm wrong but a Ronin band could be given Imperial sanction, no?"

[Yoko]

"Nothing to forgive," she commented idly, closing her eyes for a moment and enjoying the water.

[Otomo Saisei]

Saisei chuckles as he observes their talk and then intervenes, "The characers for the name Otomo are Great and Friend. So, I have to vouch that Ikoma-san here, through a faux pas, or foridiani slip like some use to say, called Yoko-san a friend."

He provides a nod to the ronin, adding, "Forgive me if I had no time to meet you on the boat. In any chance, I am honored to meet you."

Ren turns back to the Imperial. "The Crab have been wonderful hosts, even to one like me. And a great number of Ronin." Ren eyes Yoko again. "It seems Crab lands are a fairly favorable place, but I would have thought others would make a play to rebuild. I was even reminded... Otomo-sama, please correct me if I'm wrong but a Ronin band could be given Imperial sanction, no?"

"Indeed they could. If they provide unmatchable service and devotion to Imperial authority. I believe it is one of the most honorable goals a wave man could purse, if not their best effort to join into a named Family, if so Fortunes permit."

[Ikoma Ren]

"Ahhh, so not something to be taken lightly. I would assume they would need to be of some reknown for that to happen. That would explain why there were so few references to it in the histories I studied." Ren nods and lounged, chuckling a little.

"I do have a knack for making friends"

[Yoko]

"I've known you little, Ikoma-sama, but you seem the type. For whatever my opinion is worth on the matter, eh? As for Otomo-sama, " she opened her eyes, looked over to him and offered a seated bow.

"You're kind to say so, Otomo-sama. I was just another set of hands, a ronin aboard the ship. No one you should have been expected to meet, eh?"

[Otomo Saisei]

"Just another set of hands, Yoko-san." He sucks his teeth and shakes his head negatively, "An helpful extra set of hands, instead. Honest work brings honor. Do be proud of what you can provide."

[Ikoma Ren]

"Indeed." Ren rummages through his pack and pulls out a bottle of sake, shaking it. "Does anyone want some refreshments?"

[Yoko]

Yoko dips her head again, "Otomo-sama, you and those of your family continue to be far too kindly to those like me. I appreciate it, eh? I'll keep it in mind while I manage through the world. As far as this idea about refreshments though," she looked to Ren, "if you want to share it with someone like me I'll happily add myself to enjoying the moment," she said with her cocky grin.

[Ikoma Ren]

Ren pours a cup and passes it over to the ronin. "It's the little things that really make a bath something special"

[Otomo Saisei]

"Although I shouldn't indulge too much, I would gladly join up. We are in Crab lands and this is expected, I imagine." The young man smiles, and nods to both. Finally, he mentions, "Thanks for the appreciation to my Family. I personally believe that all samurai are of immense value, and the Imperial authority should be able to embrace them at one level or another, so they find their path and can contribute more efficiently to the Empire."

[Yoko]

"I'd never disagree," she said with a smirk, accepting the cup. Looking then to Saisei, "You and yours as I've met them earn the words. Your attitude isn't one I'm too used to hearing but gets to be more and more since I've been here, eh? I try to live in a way that leaves a good mark so.. I'll accept the kindness, eh?" she chuckles a bit.

[Ikoma Ren]

"I don't want to steal your thunder Otomo-sama, but such an attitude is why I am here. Lion has earned a reputation now. I need to do my best to make it unjustified." Ren sips from the sake cup. "It's a taller task than I would care to admit"
