(D1, ME) Dinner and a drink (expecting)

[Hida Tatuma]

Tatuma sits down at a table for 2, after a his day. The place is nice enough a Carb soldier with good food and drink. That is why he frequence it so often. He is thinking about what he wants to get for dinner, and he knows what plans get to drink.

He looks around the room, and sees it pretty full tonight. He might have to share the table with someone. It must to the wedding going on soon, he thinks.

[Shosuro Himeko]

Food before the big gathering seemed important. She didn't want to be starving when it came to an event with lots of alcohol, and it would give her a chance to see what food was being served now. However, there was one thing Himeko didn't count for; crowds. There seemed to be very little room at the inn, even for someone of her smaller height. She resisted a sigh, and peeked around. Surely there would be somewhere she could sit? Noticing a Crab sitting down at a table for two she paused. Might be a sign, or he was expecting a date...she moved in that direction, just in case he wasn't.

[Hida Tatuma]

Tatuma sees a beautiful woman close by the table he was sitting at. He looks up at her. "Pretty busy here. I'm not expecting anyone, if you would like a seat. My name is Hida Tatuma." He waves a hand to the other chair.

[Shosuro Himeko]

Himeko smiled, bowing to the man.

"It is lovely to meet you Hida-san. I am Shosuro Himeko. If I am not intruding it would be lovely to join you, as you say it seems very busy here. With the wedding coming up soon though that is no surprise, ne?"

She took the offered place opposite him, sitting down gracefully.

"I hope you are well? Are you a local or here for the gathering also?"

Tatuma bows his head to her.

"I am doing well. I am a local here. I'm a Carb Soldier on the wall normally. The last few days, I've been doing other duties related to the wedding. How about yourself, Shosuro-san?" Him being in civilian clothing right now. While he enjoys wearing his armor, with all of the out-of-towners, he's is a little imposing is normal clothes.

[Shosuro Himeko]

"Ah, a local. Wonderful, then I can expect advice on what would be good to have here Hida-san, ne?" Himeko chuckled as she leaned on her hand, looking at the man "I am well. Rested after the journey from my home lands, and deciding to take in some of the local food before this rumoured gathering in honour of the groom later. It will be a fascinating experience. The last time I came to the Crab lands I remember a quite painful headache after one night, it was advice to be careful on how much one consumes because my little frame cannot match the stamina of a Hida."

[Hida Tatuma]

"Well, this place is good food for commoners and soldiers. It's not Castle food, but some of the fancy food is... not appetizing. I think most the the menu is good. That is a great seasonal dish this time of year." He looks at the hustle and bustle going on around them, then looks back at the lovely face sitting opposite of himself. "Yeah, Crab Clan are a bit hardier than other clans. And I may follow the Path of the Crab Berserker also. I won't try to drink you under the table. I'm not a drunk, I just enjoy a good sake at dinner, or maybe something a little stronger if its been a long day."

[Shosuro Himeko]

"Oh, I don't intend to drink sake now. I feel more like having tea. I'm sure they have a nice Iron Benten, more earthy teas are the standard in Crab lands from my previous visit" Himeko chuckled "perhaps another time we can share sake? I hope it hasn't been too long a day for you Hida-san."

She waved over someone serving, ordering a simple meal of vegetables and noodles, before she spoke again.

"Do you know the governor and her children then? What are they like?"

[Hida Tatuma]

He orders a seasonal special and a sake.

"No, it was just tedious is all, Shosuro-san. Another time for a drink? That should be easy enough." He looks down at his hands a a few seconds, then looks back at her.

"Well, this is not a big city and I am a Hida, yes. But, I am not on a given name basis with her and her children. The daughter, Hida Kitusuchi, is the only see sometimes. She enjoys hunting, as do I."
