Preparations are essential. (Day 7 Late Afternoon)

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Hm. I do envy you that, certainly. The Dragon are likely to need ship captains about the time we start needing to import stones."

She put away her machi kanshisha thoughtfully, "Although... Hm. No. Well... Hm. They say caravans are ships of the land, in some places. I could see if my lord needs a dedicated caravan guard."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"That would allow you the freedom to travel." Shouji replied thoughtfully. "Though I don't really know much more about that sort of thing."

"Still i can't imagine they are far off from what you said."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Just so long as I never need to ride on an ox again. And hey; Maybe I could find excuses to find myself in ports more often if I'm working with traders. You know how I like my seamen."

She suddenly thought about jumping off the boat in shame but settled for pulling her hat slowly over her face.

"...that came out wrong. I meant it might give me more opportunity to see what it's like on a boat, and maybe see you again."

Her voice was muffled through the bamboo slats of the hat.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

Shouji stifled his urge to laugh. "Well, I have an idea at least." He teased giving her a playful nudge with his shoulder. "But I know what you mean, it's hard to find a sailor away from the sea." He smiled.

"It would be good to be able to see more of you again too." He took a breath and paused thougtfully. "Any dea of where you will be heading though, other then Crane lands it seems?"

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Jukami Mura. Some port city. I'm to meet up with a Togashi bonsai artist and escort him and his trees to Wall Above the Ocean Village for some sort of exhibition."

The hat went back atop her head.

"Apparently it's some village known for it's artists and views, and they're having some sort of plant thing? Plant showing? I don't know what the term is. A lot of famous bonsai artists and gardeners and flower arrangers. Some sort of early summer showing of what people have been working on all spring."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

That sounded terribly boring. Awfully boring even. "Do you think you'll be there long? Ice been know go stop at Wall above the Ocean village before." He admitted.

"Though I've never seen a bonsai art show. Or even really thought they were a thing." Why were they a thing? Probably something to do with the Crane.

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Hm. Well, the exhibitions are up for a week, and will be there a bit early. So maybe two weeks? Another stop kind of like here. ...well, here if the says had planned on repeating the whole time. I imagine I'll have pretty free reign to head out exploring; I hear there are some nice mountains nearby. Might have to practice swimming a bit more too until I feel comfortable trying out cliff diving. ...maybe from one of the smaller cliffs, of course."
