[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku looks at him, brings her lips in for a moment.

Why not?

"I know others," she says. "Older dances. If you would like to dance them with me."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"I'm somewhat tired for now, thank you." He bows very slightly. "Thank you for the dance as well. I think that would be a good time for tea?"

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku nods her assent.

"Are you offering?"

Diligent practice in all arts, she thinks.

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"Offer is not proper for a guest. It was merely a suggestion." He replies.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku nods.

"I am not adept in the ceremony, of course, but," and she steps aside to summon a servant for the tea.

Returning, she sits again.

"I am fortunate to have you in my life, Sana-kun."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"I may say the same, Yuu-chan." He replies with a slight smile. "I'm glad... I'm glad you accepted." He awkwardly puts his hand over hers.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku places her other hand atop his for a moment, bringing the hand to her lips and kissing it gently.

"You know I am here for you, Sana-kun."

She lowers their hands, leaves the one in his, sits with him a few moments before a scratch on the door heralds the tea. Moving her hand, Yuuwaku bids the servant enter and pour; after she withdraws, Yuuwaku lifts her cup, savoring the smell.

"They do have good tea and food here, truly. I wonder how our cousin-to-be will adjust to our foodways."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

She did what he thought on doing but had not the courage to do so. Perhaps he was being a little, but only a little, too shy about the entire thing. "I am here for you too, Yuu-chan." He answers, leaving his hand where she put it. "The food was not exactly to my taste, on all honesty, but the tea was something new. I wonder as well how I will adjust back to my old ways." He smiles somewhat again. Was very smiley tonight, he noticed. Well, he had a reason to be.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"You need not, you know," Yuuwaku says. "You can be more than you have been, more than you are--all that you have it in you to be."

She sips at the tea. "And you have it in you to be much, to be great. I know it, Sana-kun. I always have."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"I deserve... not all those kind words, Yuu-chan." He replied, keeping his head low. He discovered today that he was pretty bad at romantic encounters, as well, unsure if such needed to be a skill to be trained or not. "At least, if I will not be much, or great, I'm still big." He chuckles.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku sets her tea aside.

"Sana-kun, do you doubt me?" she asks.

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He took a long breath. "It is all fine, Yuu-chan."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku takes his face in her hands, daringly, gently.

"Sana-kun," she says softly, "believe what I say to you."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He lets it rest on her hands without noticing, closing his eyes for a moment slightly longer than usual.
"I... I can't doubt it."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

His face in her hands, Yuuwaku brings her lips to his, kissing him gently and for the space of several breaths.

Releasing the kiss and his face, she sits back. One hand idly finds her tea.

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He expected not this, he knew not where to position his mouth, himself, or anything for that matter. He had done all the awkward gestures of a first-time kisser, and let her break it when she wished to do so. He returned to where he was before, but the smile larger and cheeks rosier. He moved in the table to be at her side instead of in front of her.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku places her hand atop his. She says nothing else, for the moment. Does she need to?

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He holds her hand as he takes a cup of tea with the other. "I'm glad I have you here."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"All this time, Sana-kun," Yuuwaku says, "and you'd never been kissed? Handsome as you are?"

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He shakes his head. "I never sought anyone, even when they showed themselves available."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"You really should more, Sana-kun," Yuuwaku says. "It's quite fun, and it rewards practice.

"To wit," and she kisses him again, her hands finding his face as they had before, pulling him to her--and her to him a bit, it must be said.

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He was lightweight, not hard to pull as one wished, even more by the fact that he wanted to be pulled. He puts one of his hands on the ground, not to let her endure his weight, and brings the other one to her shoulder. He does not distance himself away immediately — the Crane was getting less shy. He still did not know what he was doing, but whatever it was, it felt good.
He kisses her on the cheek back. "Good thing I have a senpai."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"That's more like it," Yuuwaku breathes in his ear, holding Sanaharu close.

"But I know you have duties soon. I will not keep you--but I will hope you come to me again. There is more I would show you," she says. "Perhaps the oldest of dances."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"My plans for the evening are only traveling to Yume-Do. Even on the investigation of the curse, I believe that what was asked of me I already have done. However, if you wish for time spent alone, it shall be given." He nods, waiting for an answer.
And completely unsuspecting of which dance was this that Doji first had done.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"It is not that, Sana-kun," Yuuwaku replies. "I had truly thought you had duties.

"But I--I am to meet an Imperial, and I cannot disappoint." She smiles at him. "Still, it will be good to come back again after, knowing you are here."
