Calling Card [Day 5, LM]

[Fuzake Hifumi]

Hifumi moved closer but did not interrupt.

[Sutorenja]

She rose and said, "Fuzake-sama, how can I help you?"

[Yoko]

With her piece said she rose, stepping off a few steps. Turning about and crossing her arms with a little smirk, "Good to see you again," she offered briefly with a little side-glance to Sutorenja, "Sorry to say but.." she looked to Hifumi with a muted smirk, a shrug.

[Fuzake Hifumi]

"She doesn't remember?" she asked Yoko.

[Yoko]

"No," she shook her head, glancing to Sutorenja and bringing her arms up in an exaggerated shrug, smiling as to keep down a small awkward laugh. Looking back to Hifumi, "But- today seemed to go alright, eh? Took me for my word which is.. well, a little new to me more often than not," she looked back to Sutorenja, "Fuzake-sama here knows too, sorry to say but it became something of a discussion on how to proceed last night. Given your.. friends. From what I recall she see's.. things? Seemed to know more about the situation through some visions or the like."

"That.. about catches us up for that bit, eh?" she looks back to Hifumi for confirmation.

[Fuzake Hifumi]

"I had another vision." she explained. "Your death no longer happens, but the Empire still faces some sort of danger. The heavens send horses of wind to every corner of the Empire with a message. They carry a bloodied wreath crown in one hand and a proclamation in the other. I do not know what the proclamation will be, but it carries the authority of the Maya. Afterwards, I saw a burning kobune, then the Empire split apart. The man who took the throne in my previous vision, shaven head, mustache and beard, dressed in fine green and gold, stood on one side, with half the Empire behind him. You stood on the other side with the other half."

[Sutorenja]

Sutorenja looked back and forth and said, “You both know? How… wait… who all knows?”

[Yoko]

"More than I would like.. if you haven't spoken the one who masquerades as your.. charge? Suppose he doesn't really masquerade," she waved her hand a bit, that doesn't matter.

"Ikeda Ishi-sama does as well, which is good considering.. she waved off that thought, laughed a little. "and.." she went on reciting the names from the beach as best as she remembered being sure to include the Crane with the masks name, best as she remembered, and the part he played on the first night.

When she finally finished, "Sorry.. it's been.. hard to contain, once a secret is out and all, eh?"she chuckled awkwardly. "Some of the others have looser lips? Or maybe it's my fault for not being more careful, making sure that no one else could arrive," she looked down at that thought.

"Tsuruchi Shouji, the one paying me stuck his neck and his crews neck out for me and he needed to know why. I'm afraid at the beach when I caught you and Ikoma Ren again it came out and was revealed to the rest. I might have been more.. rash than I should have been, eh?" she shook her head.

"If that is the case," she's done it before, she surely has, but rare it may be. Turning to face Sutorenja she bowed in apology, "I am sorry for any trouble I have caused."

[Sutorenja]

"You have just listed several impossible, incredible things," she said taking a seat to gather her thoughts.

"I have no memory of any of this, how is that so?"

[Yoko]

Hooking her thumb into her obi she looked down to Sutorenja, gave a half-smirk with a shrug, "Yea. Far as we know," she glanced to Hifumi to join her together in the thought, "it's a curse with a child of some Crane and Crab who died a long while ago. Kid wasn't claimed, so.. experience tells me she probably feels abandoned. Strong emotions to have for a kid.." she thought on something, shook her head a little.

"Anyway, I'd scarcely believe it all myself but.. I saw the Crane woman as she seemed to prepare for battle. Walked straight out of the town and just.. vanished. That and.. people have died, people who haven't died, eh?" she said, adding the last a touch softer. "They came back the morning after, returned to body and spirit with the memory of the tale. Not something I'm keen on disbelieving."

"Anything to add, Fuzake-sama?" she said, glancing to the woman.

[Fuzake Hifumi]

"I am afraid I know little about the curse affecting us." she shook her head. "Some of us remember. Others do not. Protecting you, therefore, became a matter of making sure those who remember would be able to assist you. So, I have shared the details of my visions with more than I normally would have. Not only do some here know who you are, but they may also speculate on who you will become."
