Questions or Quandary (Day 5 Late Morning, Sea Fox)

[Moshi Meiko]

He blush spread to the Captain and his cheeks tinged pink for a moment before he got himself under control. "You'll want to try and keep up conversation, maybe leas it if you can. It doesn't really matter what you talk about, you more what to bring attention to yourself. Make the notice parts of you." His tongue darted forth as he licked his lips. "You can lick your lips, maybe brush you hand behind your ear, that sort of thing."

He glanced her way, again letting their eyes meet for another moment. "Of course I'm not expert at this sort of thing, but you can also lead the conversation in a direction that might help you. "Maybe ask Mystery-chan some like." He tilted his head to the side and watched Meiko for a few moments. "I know your a great hunter and trapper, but... Have you ever considered what it might be like to be prey?"

Meiko wets her lips as well, nodding along, then she brushes her hair left...then...right, then back again
"Right, okay....."
Clearing her throat
"Heeeey, how would you like to be prey?"

"You don't want to do too much though." He added as he saw her brush her hair back and forth. "It's a bit about subtlety as much as anything." Or that was hoe it had been explained to him. “Your goal is to get your partner thinking about your lips, the curve of your neck, your eyes.”

He smirked at her sentence. “A bit direct, but I am pretty sure that would get a blush out of your friend, and that’s pretty good.” He paused a moment. “If she blushes and can’t put a coherent sentence together after that, you could probably make your way to the next step.

Shouji rose to his feet, and rounded the table to sit beside Meiko. “Closing the distance.”

"You don't want to do too much though." He added as he saw her brush her hair back and forth. "It's a bit about subtlety as much as anything." Or that was hoe it had been explained to him. “Your goal is to get your partner thinking about your lips, the curve of your neck, your eyes.”

"But uh...I mean, ahuh."

"When it seems right you'll want to lead her towards the futon, maybe strip off all her clothes along the way."

"As you can tell a lot of its about watching your partner and listening to your intuition."

"Just i don't know, watch me?" He said as he rose to his feet and went back to his side of the table. "I'll try to give an example?"

Which would be hard, but Meiko promised herself she would never say anything about them.

He should probably tell her not to shout 'Do me, Do me.' But it would probably just distract the young woman.

Meiko knew what was really important in a relationship.

“I know, I’ll be a nice refined Doji maiden, just like in the stories... let me just...”
Meiko unfurls her fan and flutters it for a few moments before straightening her back and turning up her nose.

"So, Doji-san." He offered as he reached out for his glass of sake. Concentrating on the glass for a moment as he let his index his drift around the rim in a casual manner.

"What do do you think of the sake?" He lifted the cup up bringing it to his lips for a sip as his eyes drifted to meet Meiko's.

Putting on an upper class Crane accent. “Oh it’s ever so wonderful, I think I had something similar when I attended the imperial winter court last year.”

"Is that so?" Shouji arched an eyebrow and studied her fir a moment as drink made it's way to the table. "Did it remind you of spring like this one?" His lips tugged into a half smile.. "Soft grasses, warm breezes, and budding flowers?"

[Moshi Meiko]

Meiko did certainly look happy, what positive imagery!

He wet his lips, a playful smile making its way onto his lips. "Even relaxing in them? Lying back eyes closed, enjoying the kiss of the sun on your skin as those soft grasses tickle at the nape of your neck?"

"I'm sure some don't." He replied with a chuckle, reaching up a hand to tuck a strand of hair behind his ear, his sleeve sliding down his arm to reveal his muscled forearm.

"Not that any of that is our concern." Shouji continued closing his eyes for a moment. "Maybe it's just me but when I take a sip and think about it I can almost feel it."

It was probably expected, but as she closed her eyes he moved to take a seat beside her.

"Maybe, me being closer will help? My cologne might help bring to mind the outdoors." Though that was likely a long shot.
