[Otomo Saisei]

Another warm day for another good bath before one prepares for a tranquil night sleep. Or so Saisei expected.

[Kitsuki Naida]

Preparing for the party, Naida found herself at the baths once more, humming to herself as she walked out to the bathing area with a lit pipe in her lips, towel slung over her shoulder.

"Oh, good evening, Otomo-sama."

She gave a bow boefore finding a spot to carefully slip into the water, making sure the machi-kanshisha stayed dry.

[Dapper Dog]

The water is surprisingly cold.

[Otomo Saisei]

The Otomo turns his head to connect voice to voice, but focuses a palm or two downwards. He shakes his head and lifts his hand, saying bluntly,

"Stop!"

A single line of blood starts to drop from his nose and he looks up to the ceiling, lifting himself from the pools.

"Forgive me, but the water is too cold."

[Dapper Dog]

The Otomo turns his head to connect voice to voice, but focuses a palm or two downwards. He shakes his head and lifts his hand, saying bluntly,

"Stop!"

A single line of blood starts to drop from his nose and he looks up to the ceiling, lifting himself from the pools.

"Forgive me, but the water is too cold."

As if feeling a sudden warm push from nowhere, Saisei finds his body moving into action.

[Dapper Dog]

Something just tried to pull him under the water.

[Otomo Saisei]

"Holy Kami!" He shouts, and dashes away trying to get out of the pool heading toward Naida. "There's something underneath."

[Kitsuki Naida]

Naida blinks but reacts quickly, probably due to the training the Mirumoto have given her; The pipe is dropped, towel fluttering to the floor as she reaches out a hand to help him out. Her eyes scan for a sign of anything...

[Dapper Dog]

The water is still.

[Otomo Saisei]

The clacking of pipe dropping to the ground reverberates within the room, together with the water dripping down his body, and their breathing are the only sounds to heard. The Otomo finally gets to his senses and notices he is holding hands with an also naked Naida, a tight hold, in fact.

He gags a bit, trying to say, "G-gomen!" Then, he looks to the water and to her towel. Kneeling down, he fetches the item, offering to her –– from the ground –– with both hands, also saying, "I apologize, greatly. Please, forgive me, I felt something dragging me down and my impulses pushed me towards your direction."

[Kitsuki Naida]

An eyebrow went up, Naida squatting down nearby quite unabashedly, "There is no need to apologize, Otomo-sama. I was going to help you myself, after all."

She takes the now damp towel before standing.

"Why should I worry about anything besides the phenomenon in the water. You say it was cold to the touch and something tried to pull you in?"

Naida walked to the edge of the bath, standing there and looking down into the water. She was not expecting to actually see anything, but she did not believe this to be a figment of the Imperial's imagination; She had been on the other side of that too many times to make that mistake lightly.

[Dapper Dog]

It seems like a normal pool of bath water.

[Otomo Saisei]

"Hai!" He nods to confirm her statement. A mixed feeling of alertness and excitement together pounding in his chest while he sees her crouching to investigate further.

"Kuso..." The young man murmurs, as his honor makes his wince and look to the ground, instead of indulging his eyes with her beauty in such a dangerous moment as this.

[Kitsuki Naida]

Seeing nothing, Naida lays the wet towel on the stone floor before slipping into the water herself. It wasn't as if she had her blades with her anyways, but she does grab her empty pipe from where it had dropped as she stands in waist deep water.

"...I wonder if it was after you."

[Otomo Saisei]

Noticing, by the sound, that she entered the pool, the Otomo frowns and looks back at her rather upset, "I hope it is only after me. We should call a priest to check me and cleanse this area."

He lifts himself up and wraps the wet towel she left around his waist and walks to fetch another. His eyes, though, focused on Naida –– now that she's there.

Honor still pokes his to look away from time to time. "I rather have some warm tea afterwards. Kitsuki-san, please, get out of the water."

[Dapper Dog]

The water is warm and inviting.

[Kitsuki Naida]

She stares at the now warm water a bit longer before sighing, getting out gracefully despite all that.

"And it feels so good right now too. More's the pity. Back into clothes I suppose; Tea is hardly a replacement, but it's better than nothing before a party."

she fidgets with the pipe in one hand as she walks, giving it little twirls with her fingers.

[Otomo Saisei]

The Otomo nods to her, eyes darted down once again. He picks a dry towel and opens up in an offer to Naida. "Once again, I beg your pardon. I am indebted to Kitsuki-san since my present at the waters disturbed her time of relaxation. Even not being enough, there's some simple tea outside. We haven't actually met properly, even though it is twice that we meet while... well... not wearing much."

He clears his throat a bit to say, "Otomo Saisei. An honor to meet you and finally allow myself to introduce."

[Kitsuki Naida]

She took the towel with a smile, "Kitsuki Naida, of the Iron Mountain dojo."

Wrapping the linen cloth around her, she thanked the fact she was mostly dry anyways.

"I hope my lack of dress here and at the parade doesn't give Otomo-sama the impression I am one who usually dresses down. While it's true Osano-Wo has seen fit to give me his blessings so that the chill does not bother me, it seems you may be more comfortable with my more standard attire."

[Otomo Saisei]

He clears his throat again, reminding himself of the bubbly movements in front of him. The young man looks up to the ceiling again, mentioning, "Ara. Likewise. The Dragon are known for showing more of their properties. So, I would be the one at fault, by tradition. But then again, and we are all in warm south Crab lands anyhow, even myself am allowed such for social and ritualist purposes."

He chuckles, closing his eyes and completely forgetting of the scary pull that happened just moments before, "I am actually fortunate to see double blessings twice in a row."

Noticing the faux pas, he opens eyes to shake his hand negatively, "Chigau, I mean. Not only Osano-wo-kami, but also Benten-kami that bless Kitsuki-san. Double blessed for that."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"And I am blessed to have a handsome Imperial say such words of praise, so perhaps that makes me thrice blessed? For now though, I shall go prepare for tea, if that is all right?"

[Otomo Saisei]

The Imperial nods, fully appreciating the compliments with a gentle blush and a timid smile. He says, "I wasn't expecting you to prepare it since there's some ready. But it will be an honor to share some freshness to get the chill out, Kitsuki-san."

He bows another time. "Thank you."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"By prepare for tea, I meant get dressed. Unless you think I should not?"

Naida tilted her head curiously.

"I can't say I've ever had tea while wearing a towel."

[Otomo Saisei]

"Eto..."

He pauses, since that was not exactly what was in his mind, but boy...

"I ujnderstood Kitsuki-san mentioned she would prepare the tea. My mistake, I did not want to imply, although wouldn't be nice. I mean, it would be amazingly nice, but, well. I apologize again. Proper tea. Hai."

He bows apologetically once again, and keeps himself in that position, stiff, until she moves ready for other room with the tea.
