Naida scratched her cheek self consciously, "N-No? Well, that's how it is. I wasn't exaggerating when I said I would be your yojimbo if the Crane would allow such a thing. My little dancing crane is so precious and beautiful and talented, I want to show her off to the world. And she has such a pretty voice when I'm teasing her and such wonderful legs that I want to keep her to myself at the same time~"

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Oh, do you, now?" Yuuwaku asks at the last. "But I suppose I should have realized how you feel. I'm sorry about that; I got too wrapped up in me and didn't pay enough attention to you."

Yuuwaku approaches the Dragon woman more closely.

"I'll do what I can to make it up to you later." And she quirks a salacious grin.

[Kitsuki Naida]

Naida looks down at Yuu's grin and smiled softly, "You have a lot of your plate, and you're a wonderful vassal to your lord. I can't blame you for getting wrapped up in things in the slightest. That said, it seems I have some work to do in making sure you're more aware of how utterly I adore you, before we part ways. I don't think letters will do for that."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"No, they won't," Yuuwaku agrees, nodding. "And we will have to find some more material for you book, too. With that, I am, of course, happy to help."

She gets up on her tiptoes--easy enough for her to do, as it happens, even if her left leg lifts behind her to balance her out--and places a small kiss on Naida's cheek.

[Kitsuki Naida]

Naida turns her head and places a kiss on Yuu's nose in return, "Well, we have a few more days traveling together in Crane lands before we should head our separate ways; Togashi Minaru-sama will be arriving by boat in four days with his bonsai... so I will have to make the most of my time."

Seeing the shorter woman looking up at her through immaculate lashes and can't help herself; She suddenly leans Yuuwaku back and kisses her on the lips, drinking in the feeling of her weight leaned into her arm and the taste of the balm Yuu-chan used to keep her lips moist and immaculate.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku's arms lift to warp themselves around Naida--a bit awkwardly, perhaps, given what they carry--drawing her into the kiss with her hand pressing Naida's head and hip to her.

It is a bit before she breaks the kiss, and she draws a deep and welcome breath after, smiling radiantly at the Dragon.

"I agree. We will have to make the most of each moment."

[Kitsuki Naida]

Naida beams a smile as she stands Yuuwaku back up on her feet, "You really are the best, Yuuwaku-san. Apologies for being swept up like that; The way you look at me is just so intoxicating though. For now... the weather is nice, so I'll focus on that until we get to the next town so I'm not too drunk on thinking about your agreement, neh?"

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku looks up towards the sky as it stands overhead, painted in the bright blue of her own Clan and wisps of white clouds.

"It is good weather," she agrees, "and all the better for good companionship."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Exactly! Now, as I was saying about my pet bird before that cart passed us... oh, I never did tell you his name; It was Tenten. So yah, so Tenten didn't mind the cold at all either, which meant he and I..."

Naida walked along talking about her adventures across the Empire, mixing with the sound of songbirds as the the samurai walked along the road. It was hard not simply giving all her attention to the Crane woman; Just watching her was endlessly fascinating to her Naida, and the lingering heat and taste on her lips was only added to that.

But Yuu seemed to like her stories, and making her happy would more than do; Touching and praising and proclaiming her adoration could wait a little longer at least, and Naida was nothing if not used to waiting to get to where she wished to be.

For her own part, Yuuwaku is an attentive and engaged audience--one of the first lessons an Artisan learns is how to be one--listening to the stories and laughing when they call for it, or sorrowing or exclaiming of giving little shudders of fright when they are needed, asking questions at the appropriate times and all the while seeming to dance around Naida along the road.

I will treasure this time, she thinks, as they approach a small village near sundown. The days no less than the nights.

Naida genuinely enjoys her time walking, both that day and the days to come. She already enjoys traveling, but it seems good company is truly the spice that makes everything better.
