[D4 EN] Waves 2, Repeat Day Boogaloo

[Ikoma Ren]

Ren has been advertising more aggressively this time and hopes that he isn't raided by authorities again. This time, he has an immediate claim at stake, fortelling what he expects to come.

[Sutorenja]

Sutorenja was there this time without the ronin from the night prior.

[Yoko]

Same as before, Yoko made her way here. Although she was like to have at least one other companion, maybe even two. As she approached she gave those on the beach a wave.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

Hopefully this would answer at least some of his questions, Yoko had after all hinted as much in their earlier chat. Walking along the beach along with the Ronin he did keep his eyes open for ghosts.

He had passed the warning off when he first heard of it, but things had changed since.

[Ikeda Ishi]

Ishi followed quietly.

[Ikoma Ren]

"Well, this is an... improvement?" Ren shrugs to himself

[Yoko]

Stepping up she hooked her hand around her waist, holding to her hip, "Just a little further along, and plenty more complicated, eh?"

Bringing her other hand up she waved to indicate Shouji, "This is Tsuruchi- Shouji-sama, captain of the Sea Fox and my current employer. Ikeda-sama of course doesn't need much of a introduction. Ikeda-sama remembers, Tsuruchi-sama does too but.. well, he's not been filled in yet," Yoko glances briefly to Sutorenja, gives her a dip of the head and back to Ren, "Ikeda-sama suggested that fell to someone else to tell.

"And that's more or less the situation, eh?"

[Ikoma Ren]

"Mostly. We may have a few more arrivals, but this is a decent place to start I suppose."

Ren clears his throat.

" Greetings. For those who don't know me, I am Ikoma Ren. I began spreading word of this meeting a few days ago. Then, it was with the hope of finding a long term solution to a Lion problem. However, since then, things have changed. Spirits called people to watery graves. Some...thing, arrived at the Docks. And if that wasn't bad enough, we woke this morning to find the day repeated. Meaning there's a good chance this happens again"

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

Shouji offered a bow to the two others as he arrived, taking a few moments to study the pair. A Lion and a Ronin, it made for an unusual pair, especially when one took into account that this was likely the man behind the ominous meeting for Ronin.

"Complicated seems a bit short of the truth of it." Shouji offered to Yoko with a slight smile as he finished his inspection.

As the Lion talked he sighed inwardly, and looked to Yoko pointedly. If she had involved him in some sort of Lion problem, he wasn't at all pleased.

[Yoko]

Yoko brought her hand up, waved it down a little, "We're all here for a slightly more.. pointed problem, eh?" she said, looking to Ren with a light smile. "Just.. this was the one place I knew I could find the both of you."

"Mind if we talk about that?" she looked from Ren to Sutorenja.

[Ikoma Ren]

Ren looks over to his yojimbo. "It's not my place to speak of it unbidden. Why? What do you have in mind?"

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

He glanced between the three, silent Ronin, talkative ronin, and Lion. "To the cut to the chase of it, I risked angering Hida Fuboshi to keep our companion here out of the dungeons and away from death." He gestured towards Ikeda Ishi.

"I asked for a reason why this was asked of me but none was forthcoming as apparently it was not their place to tell. I was then told that some here could likely explain the reasoning to me."

[Sutorenja]

Sutorenja said, "I suppose it was going to happen one day. Might as well be on a day that supposedly never ends."

[Yoko]

"For what it's worth," she said, a snicker as she stifled her laughter. Stepping off to the side a bit more to give her betters the field. "Technically, it was already out, already revealed the big secret. Even if you don't remember."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

Shouji looked between the two and raised an eyebrow waiting for an explanation to be forthcoming.

[Sutorenja]

“Tsuruchi-sama, I am sorry you have been entwined in this situation. This one that appears as Sutorenja was not always so. This one is on the warrior’s journey and will return to her life when she has mastered the way of the sword. When this time comes she will be Oturi Yuahime, third daughter of Empress Oturi,” she said confidently.

“Ikeda Ishi was ordered to kill me, under false pretense using the name of my honored brother. The why is not known to me. The order came from Otomo Yusuke, we had hoped he was… not a part of this. But it seems that he just might be, and now you are one more obstacle in their path to get to me,” she finished.

[Yue]

There was that ronin gathering apparently and she missed it last night. If there was going to be a repeating day, the least she could do to catch up. However, she had a feeling that the actors were not going to stay to the script just because the scenery changed. Yue meandered up casually to take a look what the gathering was about.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"So you are both someone and no one at all." The Captain mused as he digested that information. "I assume there is no proof of this other then the fact that Ikeda-san knows your face?" He asked glancing towards the Imperial not masquerading as a ronin.

His brain worked for a few moments. "And now Otomo-sama wants to end Ikeda-san's life as she can tie him to the crime." He sighed softly. "I suppose knowing that Otomo-sama sent me to Ikeda-san because he thought she may be able to offer me some aide only adds another layer of confusion to all this." One he didn't quite understand himself.

Conversation was paused as another familiar face arrived on the scene, and Shouji greeted her with a polite dip of his head to serve as a bow. "Yue-san."

[Yoko]

Glancing to Yue, Yoko gave a quick, "Sorry to make things interesting for you, Captain," she said, figuring it was vague enough as she smirked. Giving a quick wave, a touch of a smile. "Didn't expect to see you again today," she added with a little nod.

"Yue-san is a decent sort, eh?" she said, looking back toward everyone. "For those who don't know her, if anyone wants to take my word for it. Just- you know, saying."

[Yue]

Yue bowed politely to everyone who gathered here. Seeing as there were other samurai here who weren't ronin, she almost wondered if she had the right place to begin with. "Good evening, everyone and thank you, Yoko-san."

[Ikeda Ishi]

"He probably just used you to find me," she said responding to the Mantis Captain.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"That seems likely." Shouji offered with a small smile towards the Ikeda. "This would be quite a bit easier if we knew his reasons for his actions." Those seemed to be a mystery though.

[Ikoma Ren]

"Yes. The threat on Sutorenja-san's life comes at a curious time, as it seems that the magics at play gives the chance of the same attempt to succeed each time. Ideally, we can find a way to stop what is at play tonight and that gives us a chance to fix it. If not, we are back to the beginning."

Ren looks over the crowd. "Some of us seem to remember. Do we feel comfortable giving each other information that would make us believe that days are repeating if we are told by another?"

[Fuzake Hifumi]

Hifumi arrived. This time Dango accompanied her and she did not avoid the gathering. She walked up to the others.

"I have information to share. I've had another vision."

[Sutorenja]

This made her grow more concerned.
