Saisei nods to confirm and keeps eyes gently focused on her gestures.

[Kitsuki Naida]

It ended being a sizable enough list. Lacquer, gold thread, resin, copper tacs, gold paint, bamboo strips, and silk ribbon.

"Anything else I either have or can get on my own."

[Otomo Saisei]

“Perfect.” He says, and drinks more of the warm tea. “Leave the list to me and I’ll see that someone brings it to you at the Inn. Kitsuki-san is staying there, correct?”

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Indeed, a pleasant enough room too. I really can't complain, even if I must share it."

[Otomo Saisei]

"I actually do miss my old room mates from time to time." He adds to the topic, reminding of his very recent time at the dojo. "Who's staying with Kitsuki-san?"

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Kitsuki Tanaka-sama, a talented courtier. I am glad I can be here to assist one of my Kitsuki cousins able to do our founder's school some justice."

[Otomo Saisei]

"I haven't had the pleasure to meet her in person." He says, wondering when to reach out. "Thanks for reminding me."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Oh? Did you have some sort of business with the Dragon then? Not that I'm asking for details; She really would be a better person to talk to about such things than myself."

[Otomo Saisei]

"Not really. I just wanted to make sure I would meet the members of the many delegations, and see if they are faring well." He says with a nod, "I didn't manage arrangements, although I do have a list of their names."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Ah."

She took a long sip of tea, looking over Saisei with an intense gaze from cloudy brown eyes.

"...You know, you certainly don't live up to the stereotypes I always hear about the Otomo, you being the first of your Family I have gotten the chance to talk to like this."

[Otomo Saisei]

"The youngest vipers have the most powerful of poisons." He quotes, "I just don't bite without cause. Don't worry."

He chuckles a bit and grins, "Very perceptive. I can ascertain Kitsuki-san that I have indeed a slightly different mindset from the main bulk of my family."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Any particular reason why you think? As someone with a different mindset than her own Family, color me personally interested."

[Otomo Saisei]

"Well. It is another secret." He frowns a bit, "Would Kitsuki-san be willing to carry it safe and to herself?"

[Kitsuki Naida]

"I am a woman of honor, believe it or not. I may be a bit unconventional, but I take my word very seriously, Otomo-sama. Though I can understand why one might doubt that coming from an exhibitionist bushi who travels from duty to duty without settling down.

[Otomo Saisei]

"I only ask this since it is a personal matter to me. There's no need to take offense to Kitsuki-san's honor. There's no doubt. If it sounded liked so, I apologize." He bows to her.

[Kitsuki Naida]

Naida nodded, "You have my word then; Not a mention."

[Otomo Saisei]

He nods to her, and says, "Not many are aware, but I am a descendent of the late Hantei Dynasty. My whole family had to commit sepukku so that I could keep serving the Heavens. The ruling Empress, honorable as she is, granted me ceiling, family and training in return for their actions. So, in this fashion, I am different from the vast majority of those in my Family that were on the winning side of the Last Hantei war."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Hmmm... that could certainly explain a lot. I imagine it has been tough then, but I will mention it no more. I will focus on the hat project instead, and figuring out something to be done about that bath.'

[Otomo Saisei]

He reopens his smile, saying, "Thank you, Kitsuki-san. Please, do hand me that list. So I can expedite things."

Looking back to the bathing area, he just shivers a bit, but says nothing.

[Kitsuki Naida]

She rolls up the list and hands it over. That done, and tea finished, Naida reaches down and picks up her own hat, "Thank you for your trust in me, Otomo-sama. And your interest in my hobby. It seems you really were much more comfortable with me clothed in the end."

She straps the hat to her head expertly.

[Otomo Saisei]

He does suck his teeth a bit to say, "Kitsuki-san is rather too much to look at. In a very pleasant, and potentially dangerous way. I apologize if I made her discomfortable. I'll do better next time. I mean, it is twice now."

The Otomo grins with closed eyes to add, "Also, please, do call me by my chosen name. There's literally nothing that I can hide that Kitsuki-san has not seen."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Is that so? Saisei-sama then? I see."

She blinked a little with her hand on her chest before giving a deep bow.

"I will certainly extend you the same courtesy then. You want there to be a next time then?"

Naida looks up from her held bow a little, curiously.

[Otomo Saisei]

He grins in reply to her curiosity, and nods, confirming, "Hai. Naida-san! Heavens permitting."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"I see."

She stood straight, "I shall do my best to see that happens, heavens permitting indeed. You be careful until then; And if you need help with anything else, hat or spirit related, don't hesitate to reach out, neh?"

[Otomo Saisei]

He nods once again to confirm and then stands up to bow back to her, "Rest well. May the Kami light your path."
