Street Watching [Day 1, ME]

[Yoko]

"I'm telling mom next time I see her about tonight, certainly," she said with a laugh, walking in behind Daichi. Taking up the space off to the side she took a look around first. Putting a hand on her hip as she stopped for the moment. "Not what I expected- that's a good thing, by the way, Hida-sama. Has a comfortable kinda feel to it, eh? Like I might not be chased out with a broom?" she looked up to the big guy with a smirk, shaking her head a little.

"Anyway- enough of that, eh? Seems like the kinda place that has a bit of history to it, what's yours?" she quirked her brow.

[Hida Daichi]

Daichi cocked an eyebrow at her "what you think because I'm some daimyo's kid I only eat at fancy restaurants or somethin'?" A lopsided grin on his lips "I told you Yoko-san, I'm a simple soul and I enjoy three things a good fight, a good fuck, and good honest food." He said counting on fingers "and Itsuki here makes some of the best down home crab cookin you'll find."

Daichi leaned back in his chair a bit, the wood groaning a bit under the shifting weight of the large man "As for me, well my mother used to be lord of the castle here so we grew up here until I was about 11 or 12 then we headed out when Mother was promoted to provincial daimyo and two years ago after my gempukku I was transferred to The Wall to finish training and guard the border." He relayed quickly "over the years I collected a reputation to be damn good at fighting but having too much fondness for it. Put too many fellow guardsmen in the infirmary after they got lost in their cups and ran their mouth a bit much. I'm a pretty nice guy but my temper doesn't test well if people give it cause."

[Yoko]

"Guess it's a good thing we're on good terms already, eh? Can't see how many folk would find fault with your kindness so, guessin' that they're the one's often in the wrong. Sounds like a pretty good trade to me," she said, sitting down across from him. Leaning against the table a bit. "Anyway- glad it's the third one that Itsuki here is known for and not the second, eh?" she said, looking to Daichi with a rather proud little smirk.

[Hida Daichi]

"Eh its a mixture I'm sure, I can drink a little too much and say shit too." he said with a shrug "I can have very little filter which some people don't appreciate. Apparently saying "The Wall is the ass of the Empire and our job was to make sure the shit didn't get inside" doesn't go over so well among Crab soldiers."

at her other comment he let out a laugh "Well hey if word got around town he was known for it I'd let the old guy go for a tumble!" he said and continued laughing

[Yoko]

Yoko had to catch herself on the table a bit with that one, laughing hard as she was. Bringing a hand up to wipe the tears she kept chuckling as she managed to say, "Should I go tell him, Hida-sama? Might make his day?" she joked, going so far as to make it look like she was getting up.

[Hida Daichi]

Daichi grinned and shouted toward the kitchen "Itsuki! You change your mind about that roll in the hay yet!?"

The older man poked his head out and yelled back "youre not ready for me yet Hida-sama, come back in a few years when you've learned a thing or two!" The room, mostly filled with peasants and one or two other Crab all laughed at the interaction except maybe one or two who looked like they might be offended.

Daichi winked back to Yoko "The man made a dish that was better than sex once and I told him I owed him some sometime. Its a fun playful banter. He's not my type though in reality." Daichi said settling down with light chuckles.

[Yoko]

Settling with the laughter as well, Yoko leaned onto the table with both her elbows and rested her head in her palms. Looking up to Daichi with a grin, "So, if not Itsuki what's your type eh? Honestly, don't think there's a finer catch in the world but," she joked, and laughed, but then the question was earnest enough.

[Hida Daichi]

Daichi leaned back a little "women mostly, but not exclusively." He finished with a grin "I like most kind of women short women, tall women, curvy women, fit hard women, all shades of the same beautiful rainbow. As for men well I'm a bit pickier with that. Honestly personality can have a lot more to do with it than looks for either gender." He chuckled lightly "what of you Yoko-san? What tends to catch your eye?

[Yoko]

"Women," she says with a smirk as she considers a bit. "There's one, now, eh? Pretty sure it's not something that would ever cross her mind, and she may not even end up wanting but.. guess that's what makes her my type, eh? Always finding myself interested in the women I have no shot with," she laughs, shaking her head.

"Hida-sama," she says, putting up an act of someone seeking advice, "Is my love life doomed forever?" she asked, and it was probably good she wasn't too much of an actor.

[Hida Daichi]

"Ah well thats a damn shame, means I probably have a better chance with ol Itsuki than you Yoko-san!" He said with a laugh "dont despair though Yoko-san, you're a good looking woman. Even if this one isn't interested I'm sure you could find someone to warm your bed at night fairly easily."

[Yoko]

Unfortunately not my kinda fun, no," she chuckled, nodding her head. "Pretty sure I could, if I tried. If that's what I wanted, eh? Just doesn't interest me as much," she shrugged.

"Best get working on Itsuki then, eh?" she laughed.
