[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku nods.

"It's been a while since I've helped someone quite so generous," she says as she approaches and her hands begin to work. Her own slight frame is not exactly spare, but her smallness extends across and throughout her body. Even so, her hands are deft, sure, gentle as they move fabric across flesh, tying knots as needed and positioning what needs the occasional adjustment.

"How does that feel?"

[Kitsuki Naida]

While Yuuwaku works on the wrap Naida works on her hair, lifting it out of the way and combing it. She looks down and nods, "...much better than I could have done on my own; Perfectly snug, in fact. Thank you. Now..."

She set the comb down but didn't turn, in case Yuu wanted to make some adjustments, "You wanted help with something as well?"

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku's hands twitch, but she stills them. Later.

"Well, you are correct; it's easier to get the strapping done with another hand. If you'd be so kind."

She offers up her own strips.

[Kitsuki Naida]

A slight nod, Naida stepping behind the other woman and taking up the straps in question, "You have very beautiful hair, I think. Have you ever been tempted to bleach it white like many Crane?"

Naida's hands were gentle and deft with the clothing as it was tugged and fastened.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku breathes deeply, trying to simultaneously ignore and appreciate the goosebumps that rise as Naida's hands bind the cloth about her.

She nods to the question. "Thank you. And I did bleach it. Once. I was, oh, twelve or thirteen. And it did not go well; there was evidently something wrong with the agent being used, and I was as bald as an old, old man afterwards."

She gives a rueful chuckle. "I imagine that I would be alright if I tried it again, but I'm more than a bit wary of it.

"Your hair, though--how do you manage it in your travels and keep it so nice?"

[Kitsuki Naida]

"That's all well; I think I would prefer your hair black regardless. As to my own hair? Hair oil, cold baths, and my grandmother's comb."



"That was what my mother always told me was the triumvirate of ways to shiny, tangle free hair."

Her hands finish up, "There. All done."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Thank you," Yuuwaku says.

Then she looks at the comb. "It is a lovely piece. She had good taste, your grandmother."

She begins to shrug into her kimono. "I will look forward to your work in the procession, Kitsuki-san."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"And I will look forward to you being in the audience, Kakita-san. As well as seeing you at the end of the parade route, neh?"

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"I'll be there!"

Waiting.

[Kitsuki Naida]

Naida hefted the peace-knotted sword onto her shoulder, nodded with a smile, and left. She had a temptation to touch one time before leaving and her fingers had reached out... but had only brushed Yuu's collar in passing.

Another time. No need to rush things at a public bath no matter how terribly tempting~

And with that, she was out the door in nothing more than a sari, fundoshi, and tabi socks.

Yuuwaku stands still for a few moments.

Then she smiles, broadly.

"Exhilirating."
