For the Earthy pepper event - just to see if I understood everything correctly:

we either
- create a team of 4 PCs,
- or go solo (which means doing the Endurance part and assuming 6 points among the other 2 parts),
- or join Kitusuchi's team, which means her + 3 PCs.

Is that it? Are there other NPC teams that might be joined?

For Kitusuchi's team: Crane got first pick, then if her team does not end up with 3 Cranes what happens? First come first serve?

If you want to join a team it should be players. Kitusuchi is the exception and the Crane have first pick as she requested them. Otherwise you can go solo.

There is no penalty if you don't call raises and fail.
