The Mantis see an opportunity and with Crane Forces pulled into the conflict in the Phoenix lands start raiding their rich ports, this worsens relations with the Crane but enriches the Mantis and gives them control of the southern seas.

With war intensifying in the Phoenix lands, especially along the coast the Mantis must decide if they continue to raid further south or focus their efforts on the invaders.

I really feel that the Umi no Akuma are like a serious threat that we can't ignore like this in our polls.

Why are there not more votes for letting the Phoenix burn?!

Because the Mantis just being pirates is the least interesting option. Them performing service for the empire and defending the seas is much cooler imo.
