I had fun, so much thanks for the game. I felt the Captain fit an odd roll in most of the plot though. Almost more a facilitator or other things due to rank and a boat.

Ground hog day was mixed results for me. Trying to fit in a party everyday was interesting. Thankfully we could have a new feel for the party every day though.

Overall I think it was for for those that passed the roll and less so for those that didn't? I also know some people didn't want to deal with it. I liked it though, and liked planning around it happening. So I had fun with it.

Yeah, I knew some of the repeating stuff would be annoying and for those that didn't want to deal with it I can see that as a turn off, it's one of those things that either you can have a lot of fun with or you can just be completely over with. My hope was to allow people a chance to have interesting stories beyond just daily "events" which I am not a huge fan of.

Is this going to be a campaign?

I think it can be, yes, where to go from here is the question. I toyed around with a civil war idea but I think the overwhelming in-game player support seems better suited to Yuahime securing her position and maybe there can be a new external threat.

I have some ideas brewing about how samurai drama, Imperialism, and colonization.

Next game will deal with a backdrop of external warfare between Rokugan and the tribes of a newly encountered foreign power they call the Umi no Akuma or Sea Demons. These fair skinned invaders begin raiding Phoenix lands before pushing further south in invasion.

In the South the Shadowlands surge as well drawing Imperial forces south just before the raids intensify into invasion. The forces of Rokugan push back until they invade the north lands by sea and create a foothold in a foreign frozen land...

The Polls will further elaborate this setup.

On an actual game note. Not that I really expect an answer. But I had the feeling that Yusuke was the father of Ijihime's child or holding the kid hostage. I meant to explore that but sadly never got around to it. Was there any truth there, or just wild speculation on my part?

Wild speculation, Yusuke got around but he and Ijihime had no intimate relations but they were genuine friends and allies.
