[Otomo Saisei]

Saisei snapshots the scene for his whole life as the silliest of grins opens on his face. A genuine and uncontrollable feeling of admiration.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku smiles in turn, looks about to see that they are unobserved.

"I'd like to give you something," she says.

[Otomo Saisei]

"I cannot accept." He says bluntly, "Kakita-sama has already given her aid and time spent with me. I am grateful."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Aiding an Imperial is duty," she replies, "and spending time with you is welcome. Yet I would do more, were I allowed."

She looks to him. I think you'll like what I have in mind, she thinks.

[Otomo Saisei]

"I am no Imperial of importance, and not as high as Kakita-sama..." He clears his throat, looking her from top to bottom in a short glance, "I mean... well, figuratively speaking, in status, because. Well... Kakita-sama is sort of... well..."

He turns around to face the stairs, "We s-should get going."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"It will not take long," Yuuwaku says. "And I rather think Otomo-san is important."

[Otomo Saisei]

Bound by honor to accept after twice being refused, the Otomo turns to Yuuwaku, and bows, "I understand it won't be a burden to Kakita-sma, so, I would accept."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

He is a couple of steps down from Yuuwaku, so she approaches him, places her hand on his cheek, and guides his face down to hers. There, she kisses him, tenderly, doing more than brushing his lips but not pushing more than the gentle kiss for the moment.

[Otomo Saisei]

He had that in mind, for a long time. Her hands on his cheeks made his face warm up rather intensively. As their lips touch, the young man tries to follow up accordingly, and does get a bit lost in the dance.

He actually gets a tad more lost than the dance, as his thoughts wander for a moment he isn’t sure if they are back into the time loop.
