[D6, MM] Morning Anew (Expecting/Open)

[Asahina Sanaharu]

Sanaharu woke up pleased this morning, seeing that at his side were not two unpainted wagasas.

Thanks the Fortunes, they did it.

How, so? He made himself presentable for the morning and went on the communal room. He needed to be updated on the situation. Thus, he wrote an invitation for Hanatsuko to have a breakfast at the Blue Bird House whilst he ordered the servants to prepare something.

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

Toritaka Hanatsuko arrived at the Blue Bird in her typical clothes. She was guided to Sanaharu's room. The falcon was with her the dog wasn't. Sari had a task, guard the entrance to the room of one Otomo Saisei. She knocked on the frame of the door. "Asahina sama... I hope I am not interrupting. Did you summoned this one?"

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He bowed seated, noticing the falcon. "I did, Toritaka-san. Have you eaten your portion of rice today? If not, I have sent this house's servants to solve this issue. Please make yourself welcome. It seems like today the day is not the same as yesterday."

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"I am yet to have Inari's blessing." She took a step in. "I am honored to receive such blessing with you." She bowed. Kuma hopped to the floor and bowed as well. "That is a welcome sight, Asahina sama."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He looks quite surprised at the falcon. Perhaps it was just mimicrying his owner, or did the animal like him? Would Toritaka-san try to train an animal spirit? "May your morning be blessed too, Kuma."

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

This one is also polite. He also respect me.... maybe is a Crane thing.
"Kuma is honored to be blessed." She smiled awkwardly. "I hope he behaves and doesn't disturb our partake of Inari's blessings." She nodded at the bird.
I know how to behave... I bowed didn't I... so stop making me look bad with this Crane. I'll tell Masao kun.
To the Asahina it would look that the falcon is chattering. "Of course you will." She turned to the Asahina. "We are been blessed with a new day. I am glad to tell you the details if you so wish."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He smiled some at the talk with the bird. People always had this thing on trying to give animals human thought, didn't they? "I would appreciate a telling of the details, Toritaka-san, before and after our meal, should it come midway our talk. As on the traditions of Lady Doji, serious concerns are not to be discussed over a meal."
Had the words left his mouth, and servants arrived with the breakfast servings. "Oh, how pertinent."

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"Very well, Asahina sama." She nodded. She nodded to the servants bringing breakfast.

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He tried to call over some subject whilst eating. "How have your days been, Toritaka-san? Who had you met?"

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"I have met a few people... You already know about Kakika Konohamaru dono and Kakita Masao sama. I met a Scorpion... and the people I can assume the ones I assisted in the festival."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"Oh, the two Kakita men, both of them honorable indeed. You may already know, but I have traveled here in the company of Kakita Masao-dono."

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"I see so you live near Kakita Masao's sama village... Kaze Toshi... was it?" She tried to remember the name.

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"Samui Kaze Toshi. It's not a village but a city, a vital trading post for the Crane." He nods slightly.

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"My apologies Asahina sama, for the confusion" She gave a seated apologetic bow. "My travels have been more in the Crab lands not the Crane... I meant no offense."
This is why I prefer animal to people. I wouldn't be judged by my mistakes.

I cannot help you with that. You are at least trying to get out there. You are doing fiiiiiiiiiiine.

She looked at the falcon and smiled.

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"You need to worry not, I took for this no offense. I'm merely a servant." He says with his serene voice of always. He had eaten little, and thus already finished his breakfast, only now drinking the tea.

He looks through an open shoji. "The clouds are closed... Today is a day for rain. Much appreciated with how scorching the past two or five days have been." He jests.

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"Yes, indeed." Hana is also finished. She didn't eat much for some odd reason. "The rain of spring brings sometimes luck." she sipped her tea.

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He calls over the servants to clean the table, leaving the tea behind. "The one that rains under the blossoming cherry trees is my favourite."

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"This may sound silly but one of my favorite songs is Sakura." The woman smiled. "I don't have the voice to sing it."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"I could sing it to you, should you wish. I'm an artist and you are my guest, after all." He smiles slightly.

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"Oh, I wouldn't want to impose, Asahina sama. I know Asahina sama has a great voice. You gave such majestic speech at the festival that it was inspiring." She smiled.

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"I had it trained for quite a share of years. Please direct your compliments to my sensei." He said in a nod. "And it is one of the reasons I wanted to sing it as well."

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"Well, then send your sensei my regards." She nodded. "I will be honest, my artistic skills are lacking but I know if I try will have something nice to show."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He nods. "Which art do you do best? I'm much more of a performer than an artisan, but I do know my fair share of art."

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"I practice iai. I also play the flute. I am not as good as a Kakita trained duelist but I can manage all the same. Kakita Konohamaru dono is quite skilled in the art."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"Oh, it is rare to find those not of my Clan that as well understand the art of dueling as art. Your knowledge leaves us the most honored. Masao-ue is a flute musician as well."
