[Tsuruchi Shouji]

It had been a bit forced perhaps, but no getting around it now. Shouji took a seat and gestured for the toritaka to do the same. "things seem quite dire if you think you won't live past the evening Toritaka-san." He mused as he moved to fill glasses. "So a distraction seems like a good thing to have for now."

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"I just hope that when I wake up tomorrow if I don't die today, is a new day and the spirits are at peace." She took a seat. "Tonight let's celebrate life."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"To life then." He replied as he raised his cup in a toast. It was a bit impromptu but that didn't really matter did it?"

[Otomo Saisei]

"To life!"

Cheers the Otomo, raising the cup with them. Yet, before he sips... "Atchooooooo!" He sneezes.

"I am rude. Forgive me." Says the Otomo with the raised cup.

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"To Life, Kampai!" She rose her cup and drank. The Otomo sneeze reminded Hanatsuko that the tea she had brought to the Otomo may have mysteriously disappeared. "My apologies Otomo sama. I forgot to ask Kuni sama for the tea."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Have you caught a chill, Otomo-san?" Shouji asked looking at the other man. If so he was curious why the man had wanted to jump into the ocean.

[Otomo Saisei]

“I am unsure. I hope not.” The says, rubbing his nose and ready to apply medicine inside his cup. “It comes and goes.”

“What tea?” He asks the Toritaka.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"That seems odd." He frowned a moment but shook his head. "If it comes and goes it doesn't sound like a cold though."

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

“I am unsure. I hope not.” The says, rubbing his nose and ready to apply medicine inside his cup. “It comes and goes.”

“What tea?” He asks the Toritaka.

"Don't tell me you forgot. I gave you some tea yesterday." She sighed.. "Probably the spirits of Sakkaku took it at night and placed it back on Kuni sama apothecary."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Oy seems Otomo-san has more troubles then I though." The young Captain mused as he glanced between the two.

"Though you're likely right about the spirits and the apothecary." He said to the young woman as he turned his cup slowly on the table.

[Otomo Saisei]

"Don't tell me you forgot. I gave you some tea yesterday." She sighed.. "Probably the spirits of Sakkaku took it at night and placed it back on Kuni sama apothecary."

He cracks a laugh, saying, "I am joking, Toritaka-san. I apologize. It is not proper of me, yet I thought it would fit the moment."

"Oy seems Otomo-san has more troubles then I though." The young Captain mused as he glanced between the two.

"Though you're likely right about the spirits and the apothecary." He said to the young woman as he turned his cup slowly on the table.

"I do indeed." He mentions, sincerely, and sips.

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

She gave a sigh of relief. "I am glad Otomo sama that you are aligned with the spirits of Sakkaku to bother me today." Then she chuckled lightly. "I don't believe that you have a tail behind that hakama."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"If would of been pretty obvious at the fertility festival." Shouji observed with a light chuckle. He was pleased the two got along well. It out less pressure on him.

"Hopefully though his troubles don't last." Whatever they happened to be.

[Otomo Saisei]

He takes another sip, then looks over his shoulder at his back, "Iie, I do not have a tail back here. Minna-sama are correct."

Back at facing them, he says, "I present good things coming. Time is preparing for it. Twice, now."

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"Don't jinx it, Otomo sama." She pouted. "Perhaps lady Amaterasu's light will shine brighter tomorrow." She nodded as she finished her glass.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"With the fortunes by our side, certainly." Shouji agreed, liftingbup the bottle and looking towards the Toritaka in case she wished for a refill.

"Even if not though, from what I understand we won't have much longer in this day no matter how things go.

[Otomo Saisei]

The Otomo finishes his cup, but keeps it to himself while checking politely if the Captain needed a refill. He comments to the Toritaka, "I have no fear. Toritaka-san is the one that is more keen into jinxes and unjixung them. Is it not?"

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Is that so?" Shouji's eyes glanced to the young woman. His own cup was little past half full, nit yet needing more but soon.

It seemed the Captain was more partaking to be socialable then any desire go actually drink.

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"I will always try my best to unjunx what has be jinxed." She took one more cup and that was her limit. Allowing the Tsuruchi ro refill it.. She will savor this one. "But I prefer not to try my luck and anger further spirits."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"There is wisdom there." The Captain agreed, bringing his own cup to his lips for a drink, before bringing it down to the table and allowing the Otomo to refill it.

"Though I wonder if there are no many here?"

[Otomo Saisei]

The Otomo fills the cup after a moment, and serves it rather apologetically. “Forgive my rudeness, Tsuruchi-sama.”

After he serves, the young man asks, “Where exactly is the lack of wisdom he mentions around here?”

With a chuckle, he reinforces, “The first step to get better is to know where the fault lies. I was once told.”
