[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

An unfamiliar person came to the docks, Toritaka Hanatsuko wandered around in the light rain. A falcon perched on the mast of the boat as it saw a familiar face going down.

[Otomo Saisei]

Koemi led the way, staying relatively quiet the whole time. "So what is this show for exactly?"

Unaware of the Toritaka up in the deck, Saisei removes his kimono top and wraps the hakama top part under his obi to make it shorter and leave more room for ankles. He sits in seiza and replies, "I am trying to rehearse a scene that happened a long time ago so I might get insight of what happened."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

An unfamiliar person came to the docks, Toritaka Hanatsuko wandered around in the light rain. A falcon perched on the mast of the boat as it saw a familiar face going down.

Spotting an unfamiliar face along the dock, the Captain approaches the railing and raises his hand in a short wave. "Evening, Samurai-san."

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

Hanatsuko nodded. "Evening...Sama. Seems my falcon found a place to perch." She shook her head.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Seems that it has." Shouji replied shading his eyes so the light rain wouldn't drop into it while he looked. "Why don't you come on up?"

"Maybe we can see if we can get out of this a little until your friend decides to find someplace drier."

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

She went up to the stairs carrying her dog. She placed down the dog. She encountered the Tsuruchi and presented herself and the crew. "This one is Toritaka Hanatsuko, Sari, the dog, and..." She whistled and Kuma came to perch on her arm. "Kuma, the falcon" Kuma bowed.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

Odd bird, but you could teach animals a lot of things given time. "A pleasure Toritaka-san." He replied offering the young woman a bow before beckoning for her to follow him under the small over hang of the roof of his cabin.

"It seems you keep quite the menagerie. I'm Tsuruchi Shouji, Captain of the Sea Fox."

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

Hanatsuko followed. "It is my crew. Great helpers while hunting and great company when alone. Like I travel most the time." She patted the dog on the head.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"It seems there are quite a few here that spend their time traveling alone." Shouji replied a smile on his lips. "But if these two are your crew couldn't it be said that as long as they are by your side you never are?"

"Alone that is." He clarified.

[Otomo Saisei]

The Otomo tries to focus at the ship's cabin for quite a while. Then, exhausted of trying to concentrate without results, he exhales the air in his lungs to say, "This won't work. I am sorry for wasting Yoritomo-san's time."

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"That is correct in a way. We are never alone." She nodded. "The aren't human some may say." She looked at the falcon. "Eventhough they may be more human than most."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Well, I'd wager there are a lot if people that are less then human in some peoples eyes." He glanced towards the bird. "So if you're willing to count that one then I am too."

A smile curled it's way onto his lips. "Unless you were intending to sound a bit lonely, in which case I can offer you a dram of sake and some company."

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"Not actually... but some sake sounds nice." She nodded. "I was looking more for a distraction rather than company."
She patted Sari's head. "The spirits are stirred... and my training is not helping to tune it out."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Mmmm...." He knocked on the cabin door, and if he wasn't refused he opened it to step inside. "Then follow me."

He glanced towards the Imperial inside. "Any luck Otomo-san?"

[Otomo Saisei]

Sashing his hakama back, the Otomo looks to Koemi and then to Shouji. An odd scene, if one wasn't aware. He provides a fast bow to the Captain, and adds, "In a fashion, hai. It provided insight to the next steps. Diving won't be necessary. Thank you for the time you provided Tsuruchi-sama."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Glad I coukd be of assistance." He replied simply maybe Koemi had gotten a bit of the show she wanted after all.

"Toritaka-san and myself were about to partake in some sake. Would you care to join? Or do you have other things to occupy your day?"

[Otomo Saisei]

He nearly shrugs, but then provides a proper bow, thanking the initial offer, "I wouldn't want to be anymore of a nuisance to Tsuruchi-sama. I am grateful for the invitation.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"You wouldn't be a nuisance, but I won't force you to stay either." He replied as he moved towards the cabinet and collected a bottle of sake. Waiting for the other man's reply before picking the number of cups.

[Otomo Saisei]

"I have already abused of Tusruchi-sama's time today. I understand he might hav e other matters to attend that a lowly courtier such could be a waste of good sake." He bow, grateful once again.

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

Hanatsuko shook her head. She placed a fist on her hip. "Come on Otomo sama... what is one drink amongst friends?" She smiled.

[Otomo Saisei]

He remains adamant to status, even with Hanatsuko's inviting smile.

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

The Toritaka looked crestfallen. "Maybe tea instead of sake? I heard that the Mantis have exotic blends." She looked at the Otomo. "This might be my last evening alive so... please?"

[Otomo Saisei]

He almost, almost agrees to that without waiting for the second offer. There's actually a drop of sweat running down his forehead. Yet, he keeps bowed until the Captain replies.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"If you turn down an attractive woman when she resorts to asking like that. Well, you're going to likely have a hard time some where down the line, Otomo-san. So I'd suggest you sit, you won't be abusing my hospitality." The Captain replied, looking from the young woman to the Imperial with an amused smile.

"Talk of death is an ill omen though, and I'd suggest we banish it with sake. Though if tea is the prefrence I can go with that instead."

[Otomo Saisei]

He finally comes back and nods to them, taking a seat as suggest along with a stamped smile in his face. "It is an honor."
