Day 3, LE (The Sea Fox) - Ship Ship Ship (expecting)

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Indeed. ...maybe flinging snow at the islands with a catapult? Now I'm really just being silly though."

She finished the water she'd been given before setting the cup down and stretching out her arms wide.

"MMmmm! Much better. I feel most refreshed and happy. I must admit."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

The stretch hid interest ming things to other parts of her anatomy and he couldn't help but watch. "Yeah, it's been a bit of a trying day. Being able to push all that aside certainly helped."

Even if the distraction was only temporary. "I do like the idea of a giant snow catapult though. I haven't really seen the stuff since moving to the islands."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"I remember hearing a rumor somewhere that there was a volcano out on the islands tall enough to have snow on it, but you would know better than I. I love the snow, personally, so if I were to ever live out there I'd definitely make it a priority to find out."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Maybe? I have to admit I haven't been to all of the Mantis isles, and I'm not exactly a local either." He'd gone there for his schooling and had a home now, but it's not like he spent much time in it.

"Seems you have a bit more of a plan to visit if you're planning to live there though." He mused his smile warm. "I will say snow is one of the things I also miss about sailing. You don't really run into it much. Unless you're running cargo up north in winter."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"I only said if; I've no idea where my travels will take me, long term. Where I'll be married, or if I'll make it to marrying age. There's a lot of uncertainty in life. Perhaps I just spend more time than most thinking about possibilities. As for you missing snow, I miss the sea; Not something you see much in the Empire's mainland outside of Crane and Phoenix lands. And those aren't lands I've spent an awful lot of time in, especially the Phoenix."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"I was teasing." He replied as he stuck out his tongue at the young Dragon. "But if you ever find a chance to come visit, please do. Though I'll likely be ahrd to find unless you send a letter first." The mention of marriage had him rubbing the back of his neck with his hand. "According to my clan I am already at marrying age, and if I find a good matchs it's likely I'll be wed sometime in the next two years. Our clan is young after all, and a man of my position is expected to produce a lot of children."

He reached down to collect his fundoshi and begin to put it back on, he wasn't shy but walking around naked only gave him ideas about doing it again. "I can understand that, it's possibilities that interest me as well, those parts of the future that aren't yet written." He nodded as she talked, his hands still working. "As for traveling I can't say I've spent much time in Phoenix land either. Though I am curious where you have been."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Lots of children? How old fashioned. Though, I suppose there's a practical and a political side to that as well... even if it just sounds like an excuse for Mantis men to have a lot of fun, neh? The Dragon encourage our samurai to have few children; Less children means more attention for each on their own unique path, and less mouths to feed. Not that there's anything strict about that; One can have as many children as one wants. It's just a practical guideline, of course. As to my travels..."

Naida sat back on her hands, thinking.

"Plenty of time in Lion and Unicorn lands. Especially along the River. A natural path, perhaps. Also some time in Scorpion lands and Crane lands, though mostly the Doji lands in the north; Mirumoto trained samurai know better to spend too much time in Kakita lands, where all the hotblooded young Kakita are."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Mantis women aren't an exception to that." Shouji replied wih a soft chuckle. "We're newly a Great Clan after all, and increasing our numbers is important to the leadership. There are a few ways to do that but one's a bit more practical then some of the others." He offered the women a wink. "Not that it doesn't have it's benefits."

"Still that's an interesting thing to know aout the Dragon." Small families, it must be nice in some ways, even if a bit lonely. "Sounds like you had just the journey. I can't say I've been to most of those places. Though I suppose I've been to others... Did you enjoy the lands of the Unicorn?"

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Oh I trust the making is enjoyed well enough. I've just heard that giving birth can be quite unpleasant, even with a good shugenja there. Not to mention the actual carrying to term. Still, if it was all that bad people wouldn't keep doing it, neh? As far as the Unicorn lands... they were certainly interesting, and beautiful. Certainly more to my tastes than Lion lands were; There's only so many farms I can walk past before they all blend together."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"I never really asked my mother, so I don't really have a good feel for it. I do have four siblings though." Which probably said something? "You likely know more then me though." She would be the one giving birth after all.

"Sounds like somewhere I'd want to visit then the Unicorn lands that is." He moved to take a seat next to her on the futon. What I've seen the most of is Crane lands, and from the coast as you might expect."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Well, I can certainly say I enjoyed the pantomime of trying with you; But then, I'm sure you and any crew nearby probably know that by now, unless this ship is more soundproof than I imagine."

She grabbed her own clothes as she smirked.

"You certainly can't get much further from the sea in Rokugan than Unicorn lands; A sea of grass as far as the eyes can see with nary a lake to break it up."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"You're right, the walls are thin enough my crew will be asking questions in the morning." He replied with a smirk. "It was fun though, fun enough to do again if you have a mind too." He watched her as she picked up her clothes.

"If I had a bit more energy I might even try again right now."

The topic turned to the Unicorn and he nodded. "Thats what I have heard. I'd like to see it too. A sea of another sort."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"A mind to?"

Her hands came together as she took his hands, dropping her clothes in the process, not important in her excitement.

"You would want to? That makes me happy to hear."

She beamed a genuine happy smile.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

That caused him to blink. Why wouldn't he want to sleep with her again? "Of course. I mean I was interested already without you making a present of yourself. Just the once seems a waste too since we have several more days here. Why not enjoy ourselves?"

He smiled back to her. "I'm happy to see I'm not the only one interested."

[Kitsuki Naida]

A chuckle, "Apologies if I seemed surprised. I thought maybe this was a one night thing. No one reason, but I had some I think."

She let go of Shouji's hands before sitting back again, "Glad to be mistaken in this case."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Mmm... I can't be certain but maybe I can think of some of those reasons." He mused, reaching a hand out so he could hook her naked waist and pull her into a kiss. He'd had his own worries, but he didn't really name them.

"My apologies for giving the wrong impression."

[Kitsuki Naida]

Naida kissed back before breaking the kiss and nodding, "Not that I would have minded... people can have fun and seek comfort however they will. But you seem like more than that, Tsuruchi-san. And I've enjoyed spending time with you both tonight and otherwise. So color me happy."

She kissed her fingers then put them on his lips before turning to pick back up her undergarments again, "That said, I don't intend to tease you more here. It's getting late, and I should get back to the inn, no?"

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Likely wise." He agreed. Anything more then this and it wouldn't be just a round of teasing it would be questions as well. He wasn't sure what she meant by more, but he'd have time to think of that later.

"Something tells me I'll have a busy day tomorrow and I should be getting to sleep sooner rather then later."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"It can hardly be any more busy than today, though I've been proven many times in the past."

She started slipping on her undergarments with a smile, wiggling into her fundoshi while sitting on the futon.

"Maybe I can see about the Dragon hosting a party of some sort."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

There was no reason to look away, so he didn't. "The Dragon hosting a party? That might be fun. I know there are at least two of you here so that helps split the labor."

"It'd be nice to see what the Dragon do for a party too."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Hai, Kitsuki-sama is here. And there was a Togashi wandering around, but you never know with them... could just have been passing through. ...I suppose it might be hard for two people to really host a party. At least anything as nice as what you and your crew managed to get together."

The chest wrapping started, a loose but thorough covering of ample assets as the Kitsuki woman talked.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Well, It could always be a small party, couldn't it?" He suggested with a snile. "You don't have to invite everyone, jst those that you might consider friends?" He moved away to pick up his own kimono. Watching chest wrappings go on was no where near as fun as watching them come off.

"I'm sure you have a few friends here, Kakita-san for example."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Kakita-san, Moshi-san, you, Hida-san... Hiruma-san. I think there might be a few others, but those are who I can think of right now. And I'm sure I'll make more in the next couple of days."

The yukata was slipped on, sleeves tugged on while it was still open in the front.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

He pulled his own kimono on, leaving it open for the moment as he moved to help her put on her own. Watching the skin disappear with just a little bit of regret.

"That sounds like enough for a party, even if it is a small one. No need for a whole horde of people when you have friends."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Hai, of course. And it would be in bad taste to try to upstage the more official parties being held, neh?"

She hadn't expected help in getting dressed but she certainly didn't mind, watching the Tsuruchi fiddle with her Yukata with a soft smile.
