D4 LM - Morning Workout

[Hiruma Roger]

The Crab shugenja seems to be out working on his morning meditation through basic athletic katas. The weather is nice and he woke up just a little more tired then he expected, so tries to work through the tiredness through exercise.

[Bayushi Ushi]

"Hiruma-sama. I would have a moment of your time... please."

The voice, emanating from the mask and cloak approaching, remembers to add enough to make it a request instead of a demand. Once the Hiruma looks in their direction they offer a polite, if swift, bow. Though the voice holds back on the tension the figure is feeling there is still a sense of urgency.

[Hiruma Roger]

Roger pauses in his workout, turning and bowing to the Bayushi, "Of course cousin, is everything well with your visit?"

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He was waiting for someone else, though this one there was conveniently exactly a Crab shugenja. The only thing on his way was a Scorpion.

Thinking well, this is the one I met here. If I entertain him on conversation, maybe he won't poison milady Yushoko.

Thus he approaches both figures, coming under the sun with a deep bow, waiting to be acknowledged.

[Bayushi Ushi]

"That is the matter at hand. You are shugenja, yes? Did you train with Yogo or Soshi?"

Though, to be honest, the figure was not certain which answer would be better suited to whatever was happening.

They, again, catch their slight lapse, "This one is called Bayushi Ushi."

A slight sigh escapes the mask though the bow the figure returns is polite.

"Asahina-san."

[Hiruma Roger]

"I was trained as a Wardmaster, I am quite adept at protective wards. I have heard rumors of the spirits that have been stalking the groom, but I am afraid I am not as adept at dealing with ancestors and air spirits as I am with dealing with the enemy. "

[Bayushi Ushi]

The mask nods, that was helpful, "What event happened yesterday, Hiruma-sama?"

[Hiruma Roger]

"I am not aware of anything special happening yesterday, but there were rumors of spirits attacking the groom the night before. These rumors seem to be a little over exaggerated according to the Kuni investigation team, but I know the peasants are still very paranoid about them."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"This is a fine morning. Have you eaten your rice today, Hiruma-sama, Ushi-san?" He takes his fan. "I fear I may have both knowledge useful to you and a favor to ask for, then, Hiruma-sama."

[Bayushi Ushi]

The mask nods again. It seemed the Hiruma was not yet awake... whatever being awake may mean. Which means whatever this all was wards likely did not assist.

They turn to nod at the Crane's polite inquiry and awaits to hear what they have to say.

[Hiruma Roger]

He smiles behind his mask, "Knowledge you say, well knowledge is always helpful"

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"I come to request a... Spiritual investigation... Of sorts in the Blue Bird House. I believe it has been the target of sakkaku spirits, and need this confirmed."

[Hiruma Roger]

He frowns, "I am afraid that trickster spirits are not my specialty. I can definitely look into it and see what I can find out, but most of my skills and learning has been toward other realms."

[Bayushi Ushi]

"Would your wards work on preventing influence from realms other than the foul one?"

[Hiruma Roger]

He shakes his head, "There are wards that can, but the ones I have studied are more to assist in fighting and protection from the enemy. I have a few that might assist against the realm of Dreams, butthat is as far as my talents extend. "

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He nods. "In such a case we are not dealing with beings from the dark or Yume-Do, would you happen to know someone who can ward against spirits such as the ones from sakkaku?"

[Hiruma Roger]

"The Kitsune are quite adept at dealing with such spirits, unfortunately I am not aware of any visiting for the wedding"
