Day 9, EM - Smoke and Sunshine (closed)

[Kitsuki Naida]

The sun was up, that much was clear. At least mostly. And there was someone, a servant, at Hida Daichi's door announcing that he had one Kitsuki Naida arrived at the castle to visit him.

[Hida Daichi]

The big bear of a Crab grumbled at the servant and a crash was heard and at least one thing sounded like it was broken. a few minutes later the large Crab emerged seeming much less composed than he usually did. His usual bright eyes were bleary and a small frown was set on his lips rather than his usual smile.

He approached the Dragon "There are few I would allow to awake me at such an early hour. Especially the morning after such a party." He motioned and tea was brought to them by a servant. His voice was deep and rougher than normal.

Daichi cleared his throat and took a sip of the tea given to him after a moment he seemed more put together "I hope Kitsuki-san enjoyed the wedding yesterday."

[Kitsuki Naida]

Naida sat across from Daichi; She wore a green and white set of traveling clothes, robe like with a leg slit up one side for easier movement. She'd either not worn one of her hats, or left one with her swords at the gate.

"And here I thought Hida were immune to such things as hangovers and such. I'll have to be more careful about my wakeup calls in the future after Crab parties. Still, a bit of tea seems to have done you some good. As to your question... If any Clan can make a wedding enjoyable it's your own, neh? Though I felt things straining again the Crane influence for such a proper lady as the bride."

[Hida Daichi]

Daichi scoffed lightly "hung over? Never, just lack of sleep i didn't find my bed but an hour or two ago."

He smiled at the compliment to his clan "Theres no party like a Crab party! Well maybe the Mantis come close but it would be a tight contest." He said with a large grin.

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Hm... I suppose so, having been to both. Though I'm not sure the parties those on the ship were throwing were necessarily representative of Mantis parties as a whole. Still, it did have the same sort of atmosphere. For now though... just a party of two."

She poured the Hida some more tea as she poured some more for herself.

"Certainly glad you were okay with seeing me early here; I was afraid I wouldn't get to visit before leaving. And I had things to follow up on with you, Hida-sama."

[Hida Daichi]

Daichi laughed a full bellied sound "I've only ever been to their Mantis parties so they are the only ones I can judge off of and they represented well." He grinned "two person parties can be just as fun though."

An eyebrow raised over his miscolored golden eye "you had business with me Kitsuki-san?"

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Did I not? I had promised to come see how a Hida warrior handles a tetsubo, something that I was delayed in doing thanks to certain spiritual happens, of course. But now that things have calmed down and the wedding is over, I thought I would be remiss if I did not keep that promise, for my own sake; After all, Daichi-sama has been such a gracious host, along with your Clan."

She seemed to remember something as she set down her tea cup.

"That reminds me, I brought you a gift."

Reaching into her sleeve, she pulls out a thin box, the size of a sheet of parchment, more or less. She held the box out with both hands.

"It seemed from our discussions that you have plenty to keep you occupied around here, but I thought I might have something for when you have downtime on your hands."

[Hida Daichi]

"Ah! Yes, with all the insanity going on lately id forgotten about that. So its a spar you're looking for yes? A little early for me but for you I can accommodate it!" He said with a big grin.

When she mentioned a gift he looked slightly puzzled "Oh well Kitsuki-san that is very gracious but unnecessary, I didn't even get you anything." He said with a laugh as he took the package and began to open it.

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Oh, it's nothing that needs reciprocation, I assure you. Consider it something to pass the time."

Inside the box was a booklet of sorts, a series of alternating pages attached together and bound to lacquered sheets on the ends.



The cover proclaimed it the pillowbook of one Asako Chiyuri, and the pages were travel papers with the other side being writings about the author's scandalous adventures in that location. This mainly included descriptions of parties, drinking, sexual misadventures, pranks, drunk poetry, and Sadane critiques perhaps a bit too cutting for courts.

"Perhaps it is not Daichi-sama's sort of thing, but I found it a most amusing read over the years. Having read it front to back more than a few times, I think it would find a good new home with you."

[Hida Daichi]

Daichi had an amused smile on his lips as he flipped through the book idlely for a moment "it seems to be a most amusing read." He said looking up as he smiled more broadly revealing white teeth "thank you Kitsuki-san this is a good gift, I'll remember you fondly when my hands are idle."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"That's all I could have asked for, so you're most welcome."

Naida beamed a smile as she sat back and picked back up her teacup, finishing off what was in there in a few sips.

"And you said you can accommodate me you say? That's certainly a gift for me in turn then."

She smiled over her cup at him.

[Hida Daichi]

"Well I make it a habit to not disappoint beautiful women whenever I can help it." He said with a cheeky grin as he finished his own tea "did you have anything particular in mind?"

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Hm... Well, I was thinking of perhaps getting some heavy weapons training in, if you had one handy. You could show me how you handle it, then I could have a go."

Naida set the empty cup down before leaning forward on the low table, giving quite the eyeful of some rather large cleavage, "Though I am unsure if not binding myself today would make that harder or easier... what do you think?"

[Hida Daichi]

Daichi was not a subtle man and very obviously took in a large eyeful of that cleavage "well I dont think you need to borrow a heavy weapon, you seem to have two already." He said with a mischievous grin

"Im sure it'll be fine, just be careful not to knock yourself out." He paused for a moment, looked again "or I could show you how I handle a different kind of heavy weapon." His grin and tone left no room to wonder about the intention of his comment.

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Mmmm... the kind of heavy weapon you showed Yuuwaku-sama? We may have been gossiping a bit, but she seemed quite impressed with your techniques."

Naida crawled around the table as she talked, sitting back on her feet as she got close, "Color me kind of jealous she got to you first, Daichi-sama. I suppose she is more of a lady than I am, more refined and less tomboyish."

[Hida Daichi]

"Her refinement had little to do with it Naida-san." He grinned wide "Simply a moment of opportunity, you were pretty busy the time the topic came up. Though if the baths weren't so public I would have shown you my technique then and there. You have a captivating body and truth be told soldiers are more fun in bed than artisans most of the time." He said with a laugh

[Kitsuki Naida]

"True... she might be an exception though, with those dancer's legs of hers..."

Naida's smile stayed, "But here I am, gossiping about her when I'm here for you. Truth told if I hadn't been so busy that day I would have drug you back out of the baths with me to the inn; You are quite the looker, and I even have a thing for the dangerous look your eyes give you, I must say. Not to mention I feel like I could be more... rough with you."

[Hida Daichi]

"Shame the three of us never spent time together, it probably could have been fun." He said with a grin that was a touch more feral than it had been before "you like danger huh? I suppose all of us bushi do to an extent with what we choose to do with our lives. I'm sure I could accommodate a rougher experience for you Naida-chan."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"As a duelist, I live for that thrill, in a way. Not roughness per say, and it's not the same as many Crab, of course. But the thrill of laying it all on the line, no in between being a hero and utter failure."

A smirk and Naida sat up, scooting a bit until she sat on the table in front of Daichi on it. She slipped her kimono a bit off her shoulders, and she'd notice how it split open for her toned legs.



"And you're right, it IS a shame. I suppose I'll just have to make it up to you in some way, now won't I?"

[Hida Daichi]

A throaty chuckle rose in the big Hida's throat as he shifted forward onto his knees bringing him between Naida's thighs making contact she'd feel his excitement at the image before him.

He leaned in close to her ear as his large hands gripped her hips "Let's see if I can give you a thrill to remember Naida-chan." He growled in her ear as those big hands pulled her forward.

Naida nodded and melted into the stromg Hida, letting everything go to focus on the thrill of that promise.
