Shouji glanced at the lanterns hung around the ship. It was a few more then usual, but the idea of unexpected visitors still bugged him.
Not that a few more lanterns were likely to keep them away. Leaning back against the wall of his cabin he closed his eyes for a few moments, wondering if perhaps a bottle of sake was in store. There had been talk of celebrations after all.

Coming up around, Yoko poked her head out from around the corner. Smirking when she caught his eye, "Crazy day, eh?" she chuckled, slipping fully around the corner she walked around and over to his side. Where she stopped she hooked her hand onto her hip as she often did.

"Yeah." He sighed softly. "I think I'm getting tired of Crane." He added with a smirk and a soft chuckle.
Imperials a bit too but that was another matter.

"They can be difficult," she laughed a little, rocking her head back and forth a bit. "But- I'm afraid I can't write them all off, eh? Met at least a few that changed my life for the better. Least.. well, one of them was born a Dragon but," she waved her hand a little, brushing off the importance of the thought. "Details," she shook her head.
"Anyway, how about a better topic. How'd the rest of your evening go, Tsuruchi-sama? Pleasant enough, I hope?"

"I don't know if difficult is quite the word I'd use." There were a few others though. "I assume that one is the man you spoke of? Should I ever need to get into contact with you?"
It was an innocent enough question, but one that didn't need answering. "The rest of my evening? I made of it what I could. I'd say it was mostly boring though."
"Which isn't particularly bad." He glanced towards the Ronin. "You?"

Dango clung to her back as Hifumi walked along the docks. It was late, but it seemed like there was always activity on the boats. Finding the Sea Fox, she called out.
"Ahoy!" Was that the right word?

"Yea-" she paused a moment with that thought. Shaking her head, coming back to the now. "Well enough," she grinned with a mirth that was hard to deny she was in a good mood thinking about that one. "H-" she stopped though when there was a call out from off the Sea Fox.
Walking over toward the edge to check so Shouji wouldn't need to she looked back, "Fuzake Hifumi, should I give her a wave?"

"Feel free." The woman seemed to be a friend of Yuahime after all. Not to mention that her visions had been quite useful.
Even if he still worried about the image of a burning Kobune. .

Once she received permission, the Monkey boarded. "Good evening, mina-sama."
Dango looked around at the lanterns.

"Good evening, Fuzake-san." Shouji replied with an easy smile and polite bow. "I trust this night finds you well? Even if it followed an eventful day?"

Having given a short whistle, a wave to direct her, Yoko had returned over by Shouji. When Hifumi arrived she got a quick dip of the head, but Yoko let Shouji take lead.
"A pleasure," she added in to the mix with the greetings.

Hifumi had bowed as well, giving the monkey the chance to leap down to the deck and look around. Dango stayed close to the seer, however, never venturing more than a few feet away. She watched him and kept him from playing with anything.
"It has been an eventful day." she agreed. "I am grateful that it is over, but I find myself restless."

"Understandable." Shouji replied, looking down at the monkey. "I suppose this is the one you asked about." He mused as he glanced from Yoko to Hifumi.
"Before that though, introductions. "May I introduce to you, Yoko, a ronin in my employee." Shouji said with a gesture towards the Ronin. "Yoko-san, this is Fuzake Hifumi, seer of the Monkey."

"We've crossed paths, but not really met." She dipped her head. "I am pleased we have this opportunity."

Yoko smiled, dipped her head, "It was good to have you along. Not sure what credence I would have given your visions on my own, honest," she brought her arms up into an exaggerated shrug, "but the Empress seemed to trust them and that was good enough for me, eh? Figure we've been too busy working toward the same goal without really knowing it for the past few days, even if most recognize it as one."

"I admit I still wonder at the burning Kobune you saw." The Captain admitted as he looked over his ship. Especially since he may be escorting the Princess north.
"You make a good point though, Yoko-san." Shouji replied with a nod. "We should likely get together all those involved in this some we can stop working separately and come together as one."

"The arrival of the Miya and the messages he carried were portrayed through symbolic imagery. So, the burning kubune may not be a specific ship." she explained. "I certainly hope it isn't this one. However, the visions were tied directly to the fate of Oturi-sama. We should all be careful. As for gathering together, it is a good idea. I know she appreciates the support of both of you and the others."

"Should be easier, now that her name is known, but then also harder.." she paused for the thought. Crossing her arms in the contemplation. "Knowing who she is should bring plenty of support, but it also brings attention, eh? Attention of those with other ideas on how they might better themselves rather than.. well," she shook her head. "More willing hands, but harder to tell who's really true of heart, eh?"
"For what it's worth, regardless of my employment," she glances to Shouji, offers a small half-smile and a shrug, "I'll be there for her if she ever needs it, however I can."

"I would expect no less of you, Yoko-san." Which was the honest truth of it. "As for me, i have to juggle my duty to my Clan along with my duty to the Crew, and my to the Empress." Not that most of his superiors would mind there was an advantage to being his position.
"But I've already promised her my ship for as long as she has need of it." He looked at the Monkey his lips twitching into a wry smile. "So there is a good chance you will be sailing after all. So I suppose we all must hope it's not my ship in your vision."
Yoko's words were right though and he nodded at them. "She will need advisors to help see through such things. Though it's not really our place to choose them."

"I have agreed to serve her as an advisor." she nodded. "But, she will need more than what I can provide. I would not be surprised if she seeks out more of the friends she's made during her journey."

"With the stakes of the Empire on one boat.." she shook her head. Looking to Hifumi with a smile, "Glad she'll have you. Hope whatever other advisors she starts picking through match your caliber, eh? Sorry to say I don't know much about the Fuzake, but I imagine the capitol will be quite the change of pace," she chuckled at the last, smirking. Looking in the interim to Shouji.

"She did ask me about others who might join us in the Capitol. I don't really know you, Yoko-san, but I remember your concern on the beach, when I told Oturi-sama about the second vision." She shrugged. "So I mentioned you, when she asked."

"I-" she paused, furrowing her brow as she parsed that information. Glancing to Shouji as she thought briefly. Seeing as the initiative was likely still hers here, she simply said, "I'm.. honored, I suppose is the right thing to say? I-" she seemed to cut herself off, paused to think more as she looked to Shouji.

"I apologize, for speaking out of place." she dipped her head. "But, you helped her accept what the vision suggested. I think today would have gone much differently, if she had not been prepared for it."

That was an interesting direction and a slight smile made its way into his lipscas he glanced towards the Ronin. "I won't deny you a trip up north on this boat if that is your wish."
"Though whether or not you accept the responsibility offered here is not up to me." The ronin received a smile. "I have no hold over you Yoko-san."
"If you want advice though, maybe?"
