Day 3, LE (The Sea Fox) - Ship Ship Ship (expecting)

[Kitsuki Naida]

Naida gave a brief scowl behind steepled hands.

"Well, that's just how today's going. Be lenient with me, Tsuruchi-sama~"

She gave a brief faux pout at the dice before looking back up at Shouji.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Go easy on you?" He looked down at his glass. "I suppose I can this time, since you were nice enough to provide the drinks."

"I suppose it will be a truth then?" He paused a moment and pushed the cup and dice towards her. "How many years did you spend of your warriros journey?"

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Hm. Two. That IS a rather lenient one indeed. I will throw in that I never visited Mantis lands during that time, not even the Valley of the Moshi."

Naida took the dice and cup after taking a small sip of wine. Seeing as the captain had gone all traditional, Naida hardly could do any different and down went the top and underkimono, a sign the dealer wasn't cheating.

"Han, or Cho, Tsuruchi-sama?"

Everything was certainly above board with the roll, and Naida seemed to be going along with the role as well.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Which leaves out the lands of the Tsuruchi too." He mused, thoughtfully, that made him wonder which lands she did travel to though. Crane? Maybe Unicorn or Scorpion? He didn' argue when she droped her kimono, though his eyes did flick down towards her chest wrapes for a moment. He was a young man after all.

"Hrm.." He picked up his clan and took a sip. "I'll go with Han as well, to see if the odd's just seem to favor me more then you."

[Kitsuki Naida]

A bountiful set of treasures strained the wraps, which were done somewhat sloppily, admittedly. Lifting the cup though...

D3, Cho-Han 1: 2d6 7

"Han. Of course. It's like you said, favored indeed, neh? Guess that means you can tell me any one truth or take a shot and stay silent."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Any one truth or a shot." He thought about that for a moment. "I think getting drunk sounds funner." He admitted raising his glass for a moment. "Though I'm not in a real hurry to get there.

"So a truth it is then." Perhaps something of an amusing one? "I didn't learn to swin until I was ten."

He collected the dice and cup then eyed the Dragon for a moment. "Cho or Han?"

[Kitsuki Naida]

That DID seem odd for a Mantis. Then again, Tsuruchi lands were in land, so maybe not too surprising?

"May as well go Han. Gambler's fallacy, I know. But..."

She stared needles at the cup, as if she could will it to change. Though whether she was trying to make herself win or lose was up to the imagination.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Well, if it's Han that's two in a row. Still, we'll see if the winds changed."

The dice were shaken and then smacked onto the table, the Mantis raising the cup a few moments later. "It appears it has as well."

"Han, The lovely Dragon finally wins a round."

[Kitsuki Naida]

A sigh of relief and a smile.

"I'm just happy I don't seem to have been abandoned by fortune today. Still, that calls for a celebration of truth. How about..."

She thinks a second.

"...I once convinced a Ki-Rin to give me a ride. And yes, that is a truth."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"That sounds like an intresting tale." Shouji replied with a raised eyebrow. Though he wasn't sure where she might of encountered such a creature. "I suppose that was what you meant when you said riding a horse is similar to other things?" Or somethign liek that.

"Excuse me if I said that wasn't where my mind went at the time." He added wth a soft laugh, picking up his cup and takign a sip.

"Cho seems like it might be lucky to me."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"No, I meant where your mind went, Tsuruchi-san. I was in spirit form when I met that Ki-Rin. Horses are more... fleshy, and not so intelligent or gentle. Not to besmirch them for all they do for us, mind you. But it's worlds different. Probably literally."

She seemed to be reminiscing, so she hadn't taken the dice back in her distraction.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Not so mysterious now then are you." He replied with a soft chuckle. "I suppose the atmosphere helps." He replied with an easy smile, though now he was wondering if her intention here tonight was to take a Captain for a ride. A thought he tried to push away.

"Honestly, I can't say much about the spirit realms or anything like that, I'm rather grounded in the physical. Still... It seems interesting."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"I prefer the here and now too. That whole business with other realms is just something I can do. Mother said it was father's Togashi blood, though I'm not sure what that means. And you can call it mysterious, but to me, it's just part of life. And sometimes a pain since some spirits can tell when someone's a medium. Maybe that's what's been happening to me lately."

A small shrug, then a small sip.

"Anyways, I came here to get away from that kind of spirit with this kind of spirit."

Another sip.

"And to be grounded in the physical, as you say."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

That admittance caused his heart beat to quicken a little. Honestly it wasn't the type of thing that he should be thinking about but the day had been a hard one, and he wanted a distraction. "Well I suppose that's one thing I can help you with, being in the here and now that I am."

He tipped back his cup and finished it before putting it back on the table. "So why don't we see if Cho gives me luck, or you get a dare or truth out of me."

[Kitsuki Naida]

A small smile, "True."

She took the dice cup and shook it.

"As the Tao says though, we are the sum of our past selves, every past life, every last year, every yesterday.."

Naida set the cup down.

"And you say Cho?"

Day 3, Han-Cho 3: 2d6 10

A lift, her eyebrows both going up, "Oh my, Cho. Tsuruchi-sama truly is a lucky man it seems."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

Well that was a might disappointing. "Perhaps, though I suppose that depends on what luck I was looking for." He replied with a soft chuckle.

He pushed his empty cup across the table so the Dragon could refill it. "With no alcohol to take a shot of, I suppose it's truth then until I get a refill.

The mantis paused a moment think what he might reveal. "I suppose it's not much of a secret. But I speak a second tongue." He offered the dragon a smile. "It's an interestin one too, luv."

"It's my intention one day to sail to the lands of it's birth and see it with my own eyes."

[Kitsuki Naida]

Naida poured a second cup for the man, "You have me at a disadvantage, certainly; I couldn't tell you one gaijin laguage apart from another. Though I know it's not Yobanjin; That I have heard spoken before. But sailing to see the gaijin who speak the language suggests one of the ones involved in the whole White Stag debacle. Certainly a bold intention, though perhaps such fancies just seem so to a simple wandering Dragon."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"There is more then one gaijin nation out there, that is certainly true." He offered with an easy smile. "Perhaps it's mostly just a dream of mine though."

"I mainly just want to explore more. See the world as it were."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"So like my own wishes with the Empire. Who knows? Perhaps I will run out of Empire to explore one day and will move on to the lands beyond. But I certainly don't feel like I've run out of surprises and wonders traveling the Emperor's lands, not even close."

Another sip.

"I will choose Cho for my roll then. Not to copy, but for karmic balance."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"It would be nice to see more of the Empire, a Captain shouldn't really be away from his ship for too long though." Or at least that was Shouji's opinion. "So coasts are what I stick to generally."

He smirked and shook his head. "But Cho, let's see what the future has in store.

The dice were rolled and and Shouji revealed the dice. Han. "Maybe I'll give you the choice of truth or dare. As I'm interested in your opinion."

Chō-Han rd 3: 2d6 9

[Kitsuki Naida]

A chuckle as she viewed the dice.

"It seems fate and karma are different than I might think. So I choose truth or dare then? ...dare, I suppose. Since I can't think of the right truth for the situation."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"If I was a bit bolder, I might say fate intended you to be my play thing this evening." He offered his tone teasing. "Though I have to admit a dare isn't honestly an easy thing to think of either. Most things that come to mind are rather inappropriate and only barely border on a Dare."

"I don't want it to be boring though, so.... I dare you to remove an artical of clothing." Anything she was wearing would count for that one. "If you don't of course it's a shot."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"Not much of a dare anyways, if it's something the person being dared would want to do anyways. Now removing clothes... I can do that I suppose."

Naida stood up and slipped off her yukata to reveal that, in addition to the chest wrap he'd spotted when she was rolling the dice, Naida was wearing a fundoshi again like at the festival.



"I was thinking about my socks, but I figured the yukata was half off anyways."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"I was thinking you'd go with the socks." The Captain mused, not looking away as the Dragon woman removed her yukata. "I'm not disappointed though." He added, not disappointed in the least.

He tried not to focus on the bit about it being something she might want to do anyways. Which was pretty hard all things considered. "Maybe even just one of them."

[Kitsuki Naida]

"I like my socks; And it felt like not in the spirit of things since my feet are basically under the table."

She slid the dice back to herself after she got comfortable again, sitting on her socks more or less.

"Nice singing at the party, by the way."

Naida poured Shouji more wine as she talked, "The band was okay... was also nice to see Kakita Yuuwaku-san dancing too it so artfully."
