His eyes narrow a bit, and he does slightly cock his head back a bit to say, "Yeah. I meant the next destination to be the wedding's place, since I'm not sure there'll be another stop or something."

Then, he focus eyeballs on hers, and the Otomo's blood fuels it with that eerie feeling while he asks, "Why would you think this wedding wouldn't happen?"

"I surely hope that is our next destination." Koemi lowered her head and offered a quick prayer to the Fortunes she venerated so highly.

[Moshi Minari]

"Hm? Just your words, Otomo-sama, since you said the wedding about to happen at this boat's next destination - or so I hope. Made you seem uncertain... and well, I was in a good enough mood to assume that it wasn't intended to mean you doubted your arrival to our destination."

Katsu was probably feeling a disturbance in the force as Minari tried to be 'diplomatic'.

"But I wouldn't be surprised if some shitty people wanna show up and try to wreck the thing. Some people just gotta rain on parades, tch," she at least didn't seem to think kindly of those who would show up to ruin a wedding. Why ruin a perfectly good reason for partying and drinking?!

[Otomo Saisei]

"The uncertainty perception is valid, but as to where we land next. I've seen you using coins to get insights and this other honorable samurai here providing prayers, now. Things could change, I am aware. Suitengu-kami is unpredictable, I've been told, no?" He confirms again, still looking at her eyes with a certain intensity.

Then, he nods, "I hope that's not the case. The Imperial Families would much appreciate such support from the Mantis to take us there safe and sound, and appreciate a lovely wedding celebration. Extra effort to avoid any unwanted... rain... as you mentioned, would definitely be welcomed. We can only pray."

Saisei takes a moment in silence, thinking how he would approach them in a proper way to mention that they shouldn't speak in a foreign language while there's someone not capable of understanding it. Rudeness, of course, shouldn't be resolved with direct authority. Perhaps talking with the First Mate later would be a good plan.

Koemi glanced over at Minari and then smiled blandly at the Otomo. "Never take safe travel for granted," she advised. "Disrespect the sea and it will not be kind."

She scratched at her throat. "But yes, this wedding should prove to be good shore leave. Much as we like the sea, sometimes it's good to get one's feet on solid land."
