Rising late and still chilled, feeling a need to get out, Kakita Yuuwaku makes her way to the public baths. Once there, she strips, scrubs, and makes to soak in the hot, hot water, and begins finally to feel at ease...

Toritaka Hanatsuko decided to take a bath. She wanted tonlook nice for the play and her date with the Crane. She as well has taken off her clothes and took a step into the water. The water was nice taking some of her stress out.
You should have come here instead of the beach things would have been sooooooooo much better for you silly tension.
She looked around before she answered that noting the Crane, she didn't answer to the spirit. She is literally stripped of her entourage and her clothes.
"Good afternoon Sama..." She nodded to the Crane.

Yuuwaku lifts her head, looks at the woman addressing her, and says, "And to you" before bowing as much as the little of her that shows above the water allows. "Kakita Yuuwaku."

"This one is Toritaka Hanatsuko." She nodded once again.
Another one of the Crane flock. You are a falcon playing with pretty birds. Well, might be good for you to learn some manners.
"I... I am honored to meet you Kakita sama." She smiled. "I hope Inari has blessed you today."

"Have you been thus blessed, yourself?"

"Better than could be," Yuuwaku replies, "if not as well as could be hoped.
"It was a late night, and not for good reasons."

"I know. Last night was eventful for many of us." She took a breath. "At least the spirits are starting to rest."

Yuuwaku looks at the other woman closely.
"A Toritaka...were you...involved in events?"

"Then I thank you, Toritaka-san," Yuuwaku replies, "for aiding Kakita-bugyo."
She pauses for a moment, then adds "Would you like help with your hair?"

"It was my duty to serve and an honor to aid." She nodded. "I wouldn't like to impose but if you please." She moved closer to the Kakita woman.

"Still, it is appreciated," Yuuwaku replies. As the other woman approaches, the Crane's hands find her hair and begin deftly unweaving the braids.
"Your hair is lovely, Toritaka-san," she says. "I imagine the braids help preserve it."

"Yes and it keeps it out of my face when I am hunting." She smiled. "I think today I will keep it down and give it some rest."

Yuuwaku nods, stirring the water slightly as she continues working. "I think it will show well on you," she says. "Catch the eye, as it were."

"Sometimes a bird must show its feathers in order to impress." She chuckled. "Perhaps stir some hearts."

"Oh?" Yuuwaku says, interested, as she finishes undoing the braids.
"Is there a heart Toritaka-san wishes to stir, someone she wishes to impress?"

She tilted her head back to wet the scalp and massaged it. She sat next to the Kakita and smiled. "Perhaps... this one is of age of marriage and father never arranged one for me. He said I was a flower that should be stired by the wind and be taken care by a loving gardener." She chuckled. "I think mother influenced his decision."

"Ah... Mother was living in Kitsune Mori when they met. Father was there escorting a shugenja to verify a sighting of a spirit." She chuckled. "At first mother tried to avoid him but destiny spoke other wise and the fortunes seemed to want them to meet. He found her protecting a small den of little kits that seem to have been abandoned. Little did mother know was that the den was actually made by a Kitsune spirit to protect her little friends." Hanatsuko started to detangle her hair. "Father was moved by her compassion and the spirit was moved by my mother's actions. Father noted that the spirit was not one to harm the inhabitant of the land that it was just protecting little foxes that seemed to have been orphaned. The two slowly fell in love." She moved a strained hair out of her face. "I think there is a tradition amongst that if love is found the lovers should marry within the a year."

"Yes mother is former fox clan member." She nodded. "My older brother seemed to follow their footsteps and also marry a Kitsune clan member."
