"It sounds like it would be an accomplishment if they could." Instead the Crab would just have to sit atop them and dream.

"Maybe?" The Captain replied with a shrug. "I mean I'm pretty sure most might understand the wish to spend some time in a proper bed." Even if there wasn't any plowing.

"But maybe I should run it by Katsu."

"More like a secret to be kept. Can't imagine it'd be anything but a painful, lustful thing to do."

Koemi shook her head. "Spend too long and a sailor will get accustomed. Especially not good for the young lad."

"I suppose you'd be more a espert there then me. No matter waht kind of rumors I've heard about the crab." The added with a shake of his head. "Still it's kinda odd that such is the only kind of shrine they have nearby." He expected something a bit more normal.

"He's not that much younger then you, Koemi. But you may have a point there." Tetsuo was still getting used to the sea. "Either way it's nice to hear you worrying about him."

"It is rather odd. I suspected at least one to Jurojin," Koemi gave as an example. She wasn't exactly well versed in the different Fortunes. "Then again, felt like back at home we had plenty for Osano-Wo and the like."

She raised an eyebrow. "Of course I care about him. He's a kid who still needs to learn the ropes, both literally and figuratively."

"Maybe the just really respect child making around these parts." It was the only explanation that he could think of off the top of his head. "You know with having a bunch of cocks at the fertile mounds." That was funny right? No? Sad....

"He is still a bit wet behind the ears." Shouji replied with a nod. "You'll get him sorted out though soon enough."

[Yoritomo Koemi]

"Makes sense, given their clan history," Koemi commented. She thought about their relationship for a bit. While friendly now, she sometimes wondered if that made sense. Were these two clans like siblings and sometimes had their own rivalry? Regardless, a Crab bath house was not the place to discuss such things.

"We'll see. He seems more concerned with antics at times."

"I think that will pass in time." Or at least he hoped it would. "Maybe if he keeps on losing bets to Minari he will learn a bit faster?"

It seemed doubtful, but one could hope.

"Who knows. It seems like he has a lot to prove, standards set by himself or perhaps others." Koemi smirked. "I don't know enough about him to make an accurate assessment."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"I suppose time will solve that problem though." The Captain mused sinking a bit deeper in the water. "As I don't seem him going on to those bigger and better thigns in the immediate future."

"We'll have our time here then a journey back north I figure before making our way back to the islands." He smirked. "That's time enough to learn a lot about people."

"A journey up north?" she asked. "I don't remember this being part of the plan. Where are we headed? Crane lands?"

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"I imagine we're going to be asked to return some of our passengers at least back to their homes." The Captain observed with a slight smile. "Though that may not be the case of course."

[Yoritomo Koemi]

"Oh, right," Koemi said with a slight smile. "But will we stay over there then? Seems like a bit of an extended shore leave instead of working."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Up north?" He shook his head. "I hadn't planned to honestly." Though it coukd be a good chance. "I figured most would prefer to just push through until we make it back to the islands and get some rest there."

[Yoritomo Koemi]

"We probably should keep on the move," Koemi commented. "We need to get back to the vessel's primary purpose."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"We can't move all the time, sailors do need a break." Most of them at least. "And not just for a day or two."

"After our time here we can wait for a bit before the next though."

[Yoritomo Koemi]

Koemi shrugged. Her life belonged to the sea, even if the Fortunes seemed to be a little unhappy with her. "Like taking shore leave back at home?"

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Yup." He offered with a soft smile. "Though I imagine some of the crew has a bit more wanderlust and may prefer someplace more exotic."

He scooped up some water and poured it over hsi head. "I don't know if it would be good for us to seek shore leave in crane lands though. Minari at least would likely end up in a bit of trouble." Tetsuo too, and likely Meiko as wel..

[Yoritomo Koemi]

"Someplace more exotic? Could be one heck of an adventure."

Koemi nodded. "Yes, on second thought, best we leave as soon as possible. Might be able to make good business while we're there though. Or strengthen the bonds, whatever opportunity arises."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Yeah, make the best of the opportunities we're given. No need to out stay our welcome though." There were after all a number of clans that didn't think well of them.

"But yes " He grinned. "I didn't learn a foreign tongue because I wanted to spend all my time in familiar waters."

[Yoritomo Koemi]

"Wherever you take us, I'll follow," Koemi said with a thumbs up. Kind of a strange motion to her still but she learned it as part of her Thranish language package.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

Shouji smirked at his crew mates words. "I'll hold you to that Koemi." He offered returning the gesture, though it was a bit odd for him to.

[Yoritomo Koemi]

"Except that whore pit," Koemi clarified. "I deal with enough drunkenness at sea."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"It's nice to know even you have limits, Koemi." Shouji replied with a laugh. "I hadn't figured on trying to drag you to this evenings festivities though."

"I know its not really the kind of time you enjoy."

[Yoritomo Koemi]

"It's your job to know everyone's feelings, huh?" Koemi asked. "I wonder if you've gotten to know the non-samurai staffing the ship as well."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"It's my job to try and keep everything running smoothly, sometimes that's best done by knowing what the various members of the crew like and dislike." He explained with a half smile. "As for the the other members of my crew. I admit to not having spent as much time with them."

"I do know them all by name though, as well as a few bits of information about them. Like how Jun has a pregnant wife at home, and is a bit depressed since he will likely miss his childs birth."
