Guests for the wedding can stay at the Castle if they are Crab in the guest barracks, or if they are local in the village. Imperial or Crab guests of Status 3 or higher may stay at the Castle or if they have a dependent or spouse/family. All other guests stay at the Inn and the Crane and their guests can stay at the Blue Bird House.
Non-Crab or Imperial guests of Status 3 or higher, or Glory 5 or higher, can stay at the castle proper but must sacrifice .5 Status for the duration of the stay as a slight obligation in admitting that the Crab must strain their hospitality to accommodate the samurai.
Meaning that if a Samurai is Status 3 they can stay at the Castle but will be considered Status 2.5 for the duration of the game, affecting the bonuses of Status as well.
