Do we need the emphasis for medicine things to do medicine things (i.e. Wound treatment to treat wound, or antidote to cure poision?) Or can we just roll medicine and if we have the emphaisis we're just better in it?

Description makes the Training Grounds sound constantly busy. Where should we go to spar or practice kata? Masaois fine doing it in the fields or on the docks if necessary, but he wants to do right by the hosts.

Farm fields are fine, or the evenings at the training grounds.

Phantom Iaijutsu ranks: if we use assessment to determine someone's ranks in Iaijutsu, do we read the higher of their ranks and know if they are real or phantom?

Quick question - do we need to abide by sleeping timeslot rules for D0, or will we be assumed to be fully rested for D1?

You have a few days between D0 and Day 1.

Wanted to confirm the new Status rule (bonus to high skills for status >1) applies to high skills in the Hole event. Or is it too "salt of the earth" to care about status ranks?

In regards to the Hole in One thread, is there any advantage to using the Ikoma Bard rank 1 technique to talk up the groom? It could be either as an addition, a supplement to the other possible Perform: Storytelling roll, or as a replacement? (potentially)
It just seemed rather close to what the thread was asking for.
Here is the text on the ability:
You may use the Perform: Storytelling skill to engage in public bragging on behalf of another person. If you can cite heroic or noble actions by that person and successfully roll Perform: Storytelling / Awareness at TN 20, that person will gain a number of points of Glory equal to your School Rank. This may be done a number of times per person per month equal to your School Rank.

Related, on the Hole Event, can I apply the Kakita Artisan Free Raise on Sadane if I make the roast of the groom about the quality of the other participants' performances ("It'll be a learning experience for him. Now that he's seen so many do so poorly, his wife will show him what it means to do it well" or somesuch thing)?
