Konohamaru awoke with a start. Pulling out his jitte, he looked around the room for attackers - none this time. Mind you, it would perhaps be a mercy to die here as opposed to somewhere more important, but even so.

They knew what to do - destroy the soldiers. But there was still something wrong, something he couldn't figure out - what needed to be "reunited"? The soldiers? Someone with Hitomi? The soldiers with Hitomi? The soldiers with the cliff?

If the remembrance festival had taught him anything, it was that there was more information out there. And willingly ignoring more information was never a good idea.

He thought of an idea - hosting a larger meeting, beyond the clans, to thoroughly sort through this information. It was almost funny - after the loss of the Hantei line, this would be the first time in recent memory he'd see the clans coming together. But he had organised a meeting in the Blue Bird - one which, it turned out, wasn't so necessary. However, the bride and groom did need some essential information, nonetheless.

And so he wrote his security brief - the problems near the docks and his response, the basics on Hitomi and a congratulations to the Crane on a job well done so far - and upon finishing wrote a note to attach to his sign from yesterday.

As he left the inn for today, fully dressed in all but his armour, he left his note and detail next to his previous sign.

"Meeting moved to the Inn so preparations for luncheon with Groom's family are uninterrupted. Note for Doji Kintaro-san; Please find the attached security notice."
