[Asahina Sanaharu]

He nods, replying her smile in a mirrored way without noticing he did so. He would give her another kiss on the cheek as a goodbye kiss, but heads turning around, things got a little odd and the kiss was accidentally delivered on the side of her nose's bridge.
"If you know when you are to return, and wish my company then, I could return a little before. Then I would welcome you back, and you would know I was waiting for you."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"I should return later in the evening," Yuuwaku replies, rubbing the side of her nose. "Shall I call on you then, or would you be here for me?"

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"Thinking twice, it may be better for you to call me. Entering your room without being invited isn't proper."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Later this evening, then," Yuuwaku nods. "It will be...informal."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He nods slightly. "Yuuwaku-chan, do you remember what we discussed... yesterday, I think?"

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"The days are blending strangely, Sana-kun," Yuuwaku replies, touching his hand again. "Refresh me, please."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He took her hand with his. "On the virtue of the things you could get there because you would not meet anyone from this place again."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku smiles.

"And we would surely meet again, is that it? Or the matter of practice?"

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"...I wanted things not to get confused. I sought your affection for romance, not for those things."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku blinks twice in surprise.

"That is...novel," she admits. And, after a moment, she adds "Do you think less of me that I value them?"

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"No, no, no, no, no." He brings her hand closer. "Quite the opposite. I want your company for who you are inside. Why would you believe I think less of you then?"

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Well," Yuuwaku says, squeezing his hand, "I know there were...rumors at the Academy. And I know myself; I enjoy my body, and I enjoy a lot of what it can do. Not everybody does, or wants to admit they do. And you seemed almost offended at the suggestion..."

She trails off, sighing. "Part of who I am is that enjoyment, Sana-kun. Not all, no, clearly, but it is not something I set aside so easily."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

Hearing her so made him blush. Of course, he had heard the rumours, and thought so, but this... Was rather direct.

"I'm one not so confident with myself, in truth, specially on my image. A little too thin, a little too tall. You know how I am, how I go. But worry not. It was my fault for not believing the clues."

He brought her hand back to the table, slowly, letting it rest. Then he let it go.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku considers her hand, his blush.

"You are worried about not...playing such a role well?" she asks.

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"Less so. I sought a romance different, as well. This can't go on right, can it?"

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"I am not sure what you mean, Sana-kun," Yuuwaku replies. "I had thought I understood, but I seem not to have. And I would not have confusion between us, whatever else.

"Your regard is too important to me to lose it."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

How he could explain, how he could explain... "I sought... romance for romance, purity on its form. I would not be adverse to romance if there were also other things on itself, but I would be adverse to other things on themselves if there was not romance, but only on the matter that you are you."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku nods. "Thank you for helping me hear you better, Sana-kun," she says. "Thank you for helping me to understand."

He is still so young, somehow, she thinks. Did I ever have such idealism?

"I would not spurn your romance."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

His eyes lighten up at the mention of not spurning. And he had his hope lost and shattered!
I can't even believe this is going on right. But only so far.
"Thank you as well, Yuu-chan." He stops for a moment midspeak. "Still, on the subject of other things, the issue is somewhat complicated for me."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Oh?" Yuuwaku raises an eyebrow. "I would learn you better; ignorance does not promote amity, after all."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"Not unlike I said before... I'm too thin myself. It only does not look like it because I'm always with three layers of cloth over me."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"There's something to be said for a spare frame," Yuuwaku replies. "And a lean body makes some things easier."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"I believe it not to be attractive." He replies, lowering his head. "I don't think I could ever show it."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

An idea forms in Yuuwaku's head. She says to him "This, we will work on." Her tone is quiet, confident, controlled. "And we will start soon.

"But, as I said, Sana-kun, I do have an appointment to keep. Wait for me?"

"I look forward to meeting what this idea would be, Yuuwaku-chan." He replies, curious. She had said it with some strength of belief. "Farewell."
