[Otomo Saisei]

With two wrappings in hand, the Otomo makes his way to the Blue Bird House and announces his arrival to guards with a request to talk with bride, Daidoji Yushoko.

[Daidoji Yushoko]

They are brought to the bride's chamber, where she is writing. She rose and bowed, "Good morning Otomo-san."

[Otomo Saisei]

"Daidoji-sama. Good morning." He bows lower as protocol demands, "I hope Inari-kami has been specially kind to you today. I don't plan to disturb you too much, so please, feel free to dismiss me if I take too much of your time."

[Daidoji Yushoko]

"It is a pleasure to receive you, would you like refreshment?" she said kindly.

[Otomo Saisei]

"I do not want to importune Daidoji-sama, but would be pleased to join her if that's her intention." He says, opening a smile.

[Daidoji Yushoko]

"It is pleasant to have good company. Be at ease, Otomo-san," she said warmly.

"Have the past few days been kind to you?"

[Otomo Saisei]

"They have indeed. I confess," he allows himself a joyful chuckle while looking down to himself , "the events are rather exquisite. All in all, I now understand why Yusuke-sama chose me to come down south. The Crab are indeed doing their best to provide guests with everything they cherish. I am happy they are this grateful into having one of their sons to become a proud and strong Daidoji."

He sits down as indicated and takes a wrapped square item which he puts into his left side. "I wonder if Daidoji-sama has had a good time in the couple past days, too."

[Daidoji Yushoko]

"The Crab hospitality has been astonishing," she said kindly.

"I am honored to bring a son of Hida into my family. I pray that we are blessed with healthy children, and a peaceful household."

[Otomo Saisei]

"With all the effort we made yesterday, Daidoji-sama pardon my words, but the all the Fortunes of Fertility across the Empire ought to be pleased with the Hida, or so I hope." He allows another cheerful laugh to come out.

Inclining a bit further, he asks, "If I may be so bold, has Daidoji-sama had a chance to understand a bit more of the interests of her future husband?"

[Daidoji Yushoko]

"I have done my best to educate myself but the experience exceeds her expectations," she said honestly.

"Does Otomo-san have some insight that might aid her understanding?"

[Otomo Saisei]

He nods, "Indeed it does. I happened to understand that Daidoji-sama's honorable husband-to-be is specially fond of his pet dog, Bujaro." Raising a finger, he mentions, "Does Daidoji-sama enjoy the company of such companions in the household?"

[Daidoji Yushoko]

"I have never considered having an animal in the home," she said curiously.

[Otomo Saisei]

He nods, confessing, "I have considered, in fact. I can honestly say I actually have this sort of white envy for those that have such lovely animals to care for them. Much as the Clans themselves are based on creatures. Unfortunately, though, I am not landed yet to have them, among other things."

Then, he suggests, "It would be a good topic to bring up with him. To care for the things he likes, or respect them. Perhaps a gift for him to use with his pet would be a great way. The Doji-kami way, I believe. Daidoji-sama would know better."

[Daidoji Yushoko]

"I can try though I have no need for an animal in my home," she said calmly.

[Otomo Saisei]

"I believe it would do him great benefit. Specially when he's the one to leave his land and move to his bride's home. I am happy Daidoji-sama is open to try." Since they mentioned refreshments, the Otomo indulges on what has been offered while they talked and takes a sip before saying, "Also, taking the opportunity. If I may be so bold, I happened to meet your cousin, Daidoji Kio-san. A remarkable young girl."

[Daidoji Yushoko]

"She will be a great daimyo one day," she responded with a smile.

[Otomo Saisei]

He nods with great confidence, "Indeed. She has the impetus of a great leader, indeed." The Otomo provides a chuckle and takes the wrapped item at his side. "Since she's not yet passed gempukku, I understand it would be improper to provide her a gift without the recognition of a ward of greater status. I have some interesting words here I would be honored to share with her, if Daidoji-sama so permits."

[Daidoji Yushoko]

"I see no reason to deny you," she said kindly.

[Otomo Saisei]

He bows to her, grateful, "Thank you, Daidoji-sama. She mentioned she's exceptionally good in kenjutsu, too. I wonder if I could take her to train any of these days, of course, under the supervision of a chaperone."

[Daidoji Yushoko]

"I would like to see that, Kio is very talented and trains every day," Yushoko replied.

"That is a marvelous idea."

[Otomo Saisei]

"I am honored." He provides another bow, and then resumes sipping a bit more of his tea. Once satisfied, he opens a smile, asking, "I'll send a formal invitation letter, then. Does Daidoji-sama has a chaperone in mind that I should make aware. I do not want to take more of Daidoji-sama's time."

[Daidoji Yushoko]

"I am sure Doji Kintaro will want to join us, it will give him something to do other than fretting over me. I am looking forward to this sparring match," she said with a smile.

[Otomo Saisei]

He nods, "Very well. I'll address the invitation adding Doji Kintaro-sama."

With that settled, he bows once more, "I appreciate the refreshment, and the time Daidoji-sama bestowed me. I hope I wasn't too much of a bother. I should leave now, and attend to other matters duty requires me."

[Daidoji Yushoko]

"Not at all your presence brings joy to this one, carry the fortunes with you," she offered.

[Otomo Saisei]

"May the Kami light your path, Daidoji-sama." He bids her farewell, and then, departs.
