When in Crab lands, do as Crab do. After having eaten like a sumo wrestler at the dinner, Saisei notices the influx of dark blue and gray samurai lining up to head to the sake house, and follows suit.

Sadly the samurai are turned away by Crab guards by order of Hida Kitusuchi.

"Dang!" He says, being bounced back in the streets by the guards.

[Dapper Dog]

Even the highest could fall low. This village was a cesspool of filth and villains. There was only one cure.

That tingling sensation behind his ear, as if someone not from this world alerts the young man of something dangerous.

Kneeling down on a stone wall across the street was a young person wearing a dark cloak and a face mask. Peeking around the same wall was a couple of other children who then hide as soon as the samurai notices them.

The masked child hopped down and rested a wooden sword on her shoulder and said, “An Imperial samurai going to a house of SIN, how the mighty have… uh, fallen.”

[Otomo Saisei]

Over his shoulder, Saisei takes a look at the project of a person trying to intimidate him and smirks. He turns to face the kid, and points a finger directly at them, booming out, "And they will fall again upon you with all their might if you do not give me your name and remove that mask at once, before I call the Crab guards right at the corner."

"FINE, villain but not because you said so. But because... Umm justice needs no mask!" She said revealing the face of Daidoji Kio underneath.

[Otomo Saisei]

He narrows his eyes, figuring out the face he might have seen before and checking with the name list he carries. With a deep sigh, the Imperial mentions, "Good that the honorable still listen to the voice of those that serve the Throne."

After commending her action, he adds up the explanation sermon, "In time, you'll learn that we Imperials have our own ways to defend the Empire, and only those in the high levels of the administration are permitted to inquire."

Then, comes the sermon, "Do not assume sin when there's service. You offended me and my Family. One in a lineage so high as yours should apologize. Alas, one as young as you should be preparing for bed at this very moment. The honorable rise early."

[Daidoji Kio]

"Well auntie says that is a house of loose men and women who do evil things to corrupt good samurai," the girl replied with narrowed eyes.

"So is she wrong?"

[Otomo Saisei]

"That perspective has foundations, hai." He says, uncovering more of the bride's personality he wasn't aware of, and explains further to the kid, "But this is also a house of those whose life has not been so kind, and they seek a refreshment for their souls to serve dutifully another day."

The man approaches the kid, looking attentively at her, to say, "The honorable samurai knows when to train, and when to drink. Always in balance. Too much of anything is always a threat. Too much water and you'll drown."

Noticing the bokken, he plays the wise senpai, "Talking about training, how good is your kenjutsu –– I bet great, being a Daidoji?"

[Daidoji Kio]

"Hai," she said proudly.

"I am going to be the best samurai swordswoman, ever."

[Otomo Saisei]

He cocks his head back skeptically, "Is that so. This means you're the best swordsgirl, ever?"

The young man swings his arm and assumes a stance with an air blade, "I could use of a few lessons to improve myself some other day. What you say?"

[Daidoji Kio]

"Hai!" she said proudly.

[Otomo Saisei]

He provides a bow, "Well. I'll take you by the word. Early morning training that is, if duty permits. An honor to meet such an inspiring your girl. I am Otomo Saisei, assistant to the nakodo Otomo Yusuke."

[Daidoji Kio]

She bowed and then returned to her gang, ahem team of crime fighters.

He chuckles and, looking to the Hole, decides it is time to cleanse himself.
