[Day 1 - EN] Hole in One [Event]

As much as Taiki wanted to celebrate and congratulate his cousin on this happy occasion, he was unsure about this celebration at the Hole. It was traditional, that's for sure, and drinking and cheering was all great... But he couldn't brake the stories of how that Yasuki who was wholly undeserving of his cousin disrespected her with his behaviour here.

Still... Not showing up would be inappropriate. So come he did. He looked for a calmer place - and found none. So he decided to do things the other way.

He came closer to the groom and those around him when he could. And he drank.

And he drank more.

And more.

More.

Things seemed a bit easier that way. He probably even got some attention, but he held his liquor well, and behaved well enough.

Then his turn came to make a toast, or a roast. He was sure which one he would do. He wanted his cousin to be respected, and so when he stepped up on a bench and raised his jug, he started talking about Yoji's bravery on the wall, his courage, and...

And then Taiki saw Yancho. Looking at other girls, talking to someone else. That was probably more respectful than he usually would be here, given the occasion. Still, the Badger's eyes flared, filled with disdain and disgust. He suddenly went quiet... and when he spoke again, he could only hiss - "Ssso... Cheers for the groom" - in a low, held back tone that defeated any effect of the boasting he had started, then bowed respectfully to his cousin with a bit of an apologetic smile and got back to the floor.

He wondered if he should have a talk with the Yasuki...
