Sen had to admit that Meiko was pretty good at walking into traps. “Maybe you’d be a natural in settin’ one up, too?”

"Ooooh, I've never tried! Is it easy? How do you know how much rope to use? What do you practice on when you start?"

“Extra rope is fine to have...” Sen took a sip of her tea, mulling over how to explain rope snares. “Hrmm. It’s best I show you and then you get hands on experience. You good at knots?”

“Well, for snarin’ all you need to really know how to do is a slip knot for the noose and some kind of hitchin’ knot. Not great with the terminology.” The Hiruma crossed her arms over her chest as she explained, clearly interested in teach others her craft.

"Can't say rope snares will get much use on a ship." The Captain offered with a wry smile. "Though I suppose that's not a reason to not learn em."

"Just don't go practicing where people may walk into them. I don't want to have to explain any ncidents to Hiruma-san's Lord."

"I promise I won't catch anyone who doesn't want to be caught! I'll only snare harmless places like my hammock or the tops of trees."

"If you snare your hammock you might end up swinging from the ceiling, or archie may end up in the same place." Shouji replied with a soft sigh.

She puts her hand on her heart, so he knows she means business!

"As long as we have an understanding." The Captain replied with an easy smile, picking up his tea cup and taking a sip from it.

"I'll let you two get to discussing the whens and where of your da... Next outing." He added as he went back to seemingly ignoring the coming conversation.

Sen watched the two with a bit of amusement before giving them both a small smile, “I guess it’s a good a time as any to do so. I’m pretty free whenever. Just come and find me when you want to learn, Moshi-san.”

“M-me?” Sen looked at Meiko with wide eyes, a little surprised at that turn of events. “Interesting choice of goal, I have to admit.”

"Well, you're probably really hard to catch since you're a scout! So if I can catch someone like you then I'll know I have mastered the snare!"

Meiko seemed serious about it, so Sen indulged her some more, “I sure hope I’d be difficult to catch! It would be kind of embarrassing if I was easy to catch in a trap after working so much with them.”

"Traps generally aren't the best way to catch people you know." The Captain offered with an amused smile. "There are a lot better ways after all."

"Like with tea." He offered raising his cup in example.

"Tea is the best trap, everyone is always happy to be caught by tea."
Meiko mirrors the captain before drinking from his own cup.

"But with this tea I shall have the power to catch even the mightiest foe, eventually, I think it will be hard at first."

Alarmed, Sen looked down at her tea and then back to the Mantis duo. “Have... Have I been trapped already? Is Moshi-san already a master?”

"Weren't you about to leave before tea was offered, Hiruma-san." The Captain asked an amused smile making it's way onto his lips.

"I think you should be able to draw your own conclusions from there."

Meiko just smiles innocently, looking very pleased.

“I’ve been trapped. Oh no.” Sen looked down at her tea again, a flicker of a smile before she took a sip. “Could be worse. Tea is a very pleasant trap.”

Shouji reached over and collected his tea cup from where Meiko had placed it in front on her after taking a sip. "I knew you were accident prone, but this?"

He sighed softly before turning the cup and taking a sip anyways. "It really is a pleasant trap Hiruma-san." He agreed with an easy smile. Which is what made it dangerous.
