Not Sleepy Yet [Day 2, EN]

"A see. 'En... A s'pose". Different upbringin's, different ootlooks, yeah? Soonds likely."

He seemed thoughtful.

"'En... ye've ne'er thought o' settling, then? A mean... if ye could?"

[Yoko]

Yoko laughed, it came out almost like a bark as she started waving her hand a little bit to calm down. "No-" she chuckled some more, holding her gut a bit. "Definitely no time soon, eh? Just really got my start on this whole walking the world thing. Plenty of stuff I gotta get done before I even think about that. If-" she calmed quickly, shaking her head a little, and waved off that last thought with a lazy hand as if it was discarded.

"A see!", the Badger said with a gentle smile, but his face seemed to show that wasn't really something he'd ever considered.

He kept quiet then, for a long while, his expression showing he was lost in thoughts.

He'd wandered for almost two years, and even now, going from post to post in different parts of the wall, he couldn't really say he had settled.

But... to have no real perspective of settling down? He hadn't noticed it even as he had asked her about her plans, but... that wasn't something he had even really considered. Even in a clan of wanderers as the Badger was now, the perspective of a family, of seeing a next generation... of seeing some sort of 'continuation' was always there.

"A... s'pose it's nae a perspective A'm used tae thinkin' aboot. It needs.... bravery, in a way, eh?"

[Yoko]

When he spoke again she was halfway pulling up her legs from the edge of the docks, shifting a bit more to face him before she got up. Pausing there though when he spoke she smiled, "Way I like to think of it sometimes," she shook her head. "Not sure many other people would agree with you, eh? Just.. it's just the way to be, for me at least," she shrugged.

He shrugged, still smiling.

"Tha', 'en focusin' on helpin' people while a' it? A cannae dae bu' tae respect tha', yeah?"

He stretches again, takes a deep breath. "Th' sea breeze smells good, doesnae it? Jus'... seems tae be a heavy feelin' tonecht? Ur maybe 's jus' me feelin' the weight o' thinkin' again."

Then, looking at her and smiling again. "Sae... gettin' ready tae gang, Yoko-san? 'S been a braw late blether. Thanks fer tha'"

[Yoko]

"You're kind, Ichiro-sama. Don't let anyone ever try to convince you elsewise, eh?" she smirked, cocky in it's nature. Shifting a little more as she sat, that half-ready to get up kind of sit with her arms laid down in her lap. "It was good to chat. Got some things off my mind, eh? Reminded me about a few things. So, thanks for joining me tonight, eh?" she said, offered a quick grin and then turned as she rose.

Looking back to him, "It was good, Ichiro-sama."
