[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Well, that is a shame," Yuuwaku says. "Because I would certainly like to hear from you."

[Otomo Saisei]

He grins and then nods, "It would be an honor to exchange letters with Kakita-sama."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"I shall look forward to them," she replies, then eats more of her noodles.

A few beads of sweat break out on her brow. "These are flavorful, indeed."

[Otomo Saisei]

"A samurai does not regret." He says, and keep digging in in the midst of laughter. "It was the flavor I've asked, so I must endure."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Who's complaining?" she asks and takes another bite.

"Like I said, one adventures sometimes."

She raises an eyebrow over her bowl. "And you're sure you don't want, ahem, dessert with me?"

[Otomo Saisei]

"I do! Fortunes know, I do." He takes the spicy bowl up and drinks what's left of the broth. He rubs his forearm over his forehead and then pants a bit before saying, "Kakita-sama just gave me a wise council, and I should abide to it."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku smiles and nods.

"I'm glad to have helped you," she says, then finishes her own bowl. "And I expect to remain available to...offer artistic advice, should you decide to avail yourself of it."

[Otomo Saisei]

The Otomo turns to her and then provides a seated bow, "Duty permitting, I would try eagerly to learn all the moves Kakita-sama would have to show... although I might not perform them as graciously."

He chuckles a bit, the redness of his cheeks coming up naively, or it was the spice. Both perhaps.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"It is an issue of practice, Otomo-san," Yuuwaku replies as she bows. "And, like most things, it rewards diligent practice. Although I will say one thing more; when you go to dine, do so gladly." She smiles wickedly. "It helps."

[Otomo Saisei]

"I will." He says, smiling brightly while looking at her.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Good." Yuuwaku nods.

She finishes her tea.

[Otomo Saisei]

He keeps staring like an idiot.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Otomo-san," she says, "are you...considering an artistic lesson?"

[Otomo Saisei]

He shakes his head for a moment and bows apologetically, "Iie. I don't think this is the right moment."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Probably not," she agrees. "Although, as I said, I would be happy to help with such."

[Otomo Saisei]

He maintains his bow to control those deliciously haunting thoughts.

"I am grateful, and would look for the opportunity if duty permits."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Perhaps tomorrow, after?" she suggests.

[Otomo Saisei]

He smirks, saying, "Perhaps."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

She returns the smirk.

"I shall look forward to it, then," she says and makes to rise.

"Thank you for the meal. I really must have you to dine sometime."

[Otomo Saisei]

"It was an honor." He says, rising with her –– and sweating rivers from the spiciness. He stays until she leaves to deal with the vendor, being himself the one lower in rank.
