Rain pattered down into the walks in front of her. Having found herself a spot to hide underneath an overhang. Smiling as she thought watching the rain she enjoyed the scent it left on the air. Shoulder up against a post she leaned and relaxed there a while. Playing with her weathered pipe in her hand, twirling it around absently.

A young girl in a mask approached her and said, "Hey wolf-girl, you causing any trouble?"

She had her own little parasol but her sandals and the hem of her finely made light blue kimono were muddy from play.

Pausing with the pipe Yoko glanced around for anyone attending the kid, but shrugging when she didn't find anyone quickly. Focusing back on the girl she smirked. Chuckling a little, she said, "Nope, don't think so at least. You?" Adding to the question Yoko brought up her hand pointing to Kio with her pipe, quirking her brow, and smiling a little.

Daichi was strolling through the rain with a little smile on his lips enjoying the day so far. He had no protection from the rain and was soaked but didn't seem to mind his hair clinging to his face where it wasn't pulled back into a tail.

He came across the interaction between the little Daidoji and Yoko and chuckled his deep voice rumbling out "I see Daidoji-san is practicing well for being a magistrate one day, troubling Ronin for simply being." He said with a smile and twinkle in his mismatched eyes.

She narrowed her eyes and said, "I fix problems."

She looked at the Crab and added, "I am going to be the best swordswoman ever."

Glancing from Kio to Daichi she smiled, "Hello again, Hida-sama, glad to see you after all the trouble of the last few days," she said. Leaning off from the post she squatted down to more match Kio's height. "Well, she's troubling me none. So, I'm sure her swordsmanship skills will be without par someday, eh?" she looked to Kio with a little smirk.

"Besides, I'm sure the little future of the Crane here will grow will into a fine samurai someday," she quirked her brow at Kio. "One who's thoughtful and kind. A real protector of the people."

"Hai," she said nodding with approval.

"So what are you doing out here anyways?"

"Right now.. well, I was thinking. Nice enough place to do it if you don't mind getting your feet a little muddy and shoulders a little wet, eh?" she said with a little smirk. "Been given a lot to think about lately. But, I should ask you the same, eh? What brings you out here all by your lonesome?"

"Patrolling for jerk ghosts," she offered.

"Been seeing ghosts, little one?" she asked, quirked her brow. Even as a little pit formed in her stomach. Glancing up to Daichi quickly, but then focusing back on Kio. "I hope they haven't caused you any trouble."

"Not any more, think we got rid of them but still, just being safe," she said to the ronin.

"Good to be vigilant," she smiled, "I should warn you about the dangers of going out alone for one so young, eh? But you hear that enough I'm sure, and I acted the same when I was younger." Yoko chuckled, shaking her head, "So, I shouldn't be a hypocrite, eh?" she smiled, shook her head a little again.

"Though, I'm sorry to say we are a little different, I did it because I was running away from something rather than toward anything," she said softly, giving herself a moment of pause. "You've a good heart, eh? Keep good care of it," she said with another smile, regarding the girl, appreciating the life she had set in front of her.

Daichi smiled and nodded "Yes such vigilance and passion on one's duties is to be commended." He said looking to Kio and then regarded Yoko for a moment with a soft smile noticing the moment she took for herself.

"So how has Yoko-san been today? It is strange it feels like we spoke recently but also that some time has passed since I've seen you. Odd." He shook of the confusion he felt frequently the past couple of days.

"I got my eye on you wolf-girl, but so far you seem okay," Kio responded.

Yoko glanced up to Daichi, a little nod, then back down to Kio with a smile. With the smile delivered she rose back to standing and looked up even more still at Daichi, "I've been well, Hida-sama. Better than I have any right to be. Though.." she regards him for a moment, hooking her hand onto her hip. "I'm guessing you don't remember then? Day's we lost to the curse? Well.. certainly you remember the last, but beyond that?"

"Theres been a curse?" He frowned slightly and rubbed his chin "days lost huh? That would explain my brain being so foggy when I try to think past yesterday. Lots of flashes and partial memories." A beach full of ronin, mantis parties but seemingly endless, soft sighs, sheets cluthed tightly, he clears his throat a little heat rising in his cheeks at certain flashes of memory "yeah uh I guess that explains some stuff."

"You're a big lug," she smiled as she regarded him, shaking her head chuckling, "I don't know how this thing works, but thanks for believing me, eh? As far as it matters what I think, I appreciate the willingness. So, yea, you missed a lot then. I've been.. pretty busy, trying to do the best I could, eh? It's nice having the moment to breathe," she paused, considered that thought and glanced down a bit. Shaking her head slightly, "Anyway, either way we keep moving forward now, eh? No more of that starting back at zero."

Daichi shrugged "Welp you don't strike me as a crazy person and what could you have to gain by such a outlandish lie. Maybe if you'd accompanied it with a request for reward I might be a bit more suspicious but as it stands you've given me no reason to doubt you."

"In my case just move forward same as always since I never noticed anything a miss anyway!" He said laughing a deep full bellied laugh "so what caused this uh curse as you called it?"

Yoko smirked, looking down to Kio, "Supposedly she was just a kid once, so I felt for her story but.. yea," she laughs looking to Kio and then Daichi, "yea that sounds the best way to put it."

Daichi frowned "always hated ghosts and spirits. One thing that I can't just smash no matter what I have. Glad people got it all figured out though. Guess I'm glad it happened on a day when nothing too important or boring was happening. Would have sucked to have to go through a wedding three or four times!" He said with a loud laugh.

"Tsuruchi-sama and the Mantis got caught up with a party, which.. well,' she laughed, shaking her head. "Isn't as taxing when you don't much have to worry about a hangover, eh? But when you're the one setting it up.. gets awful unfortunate," she chuckled a bit.

That inspired a chuckle, shaking her head and then nodding toward Kio, "Don't think I wanna know how it feels to get trapped in a Crane arrangement, eh? Always so stuffy, doing that the first time is bad enough," she smiled, laughed.
