[Day 2 - MA] Earthy Pepper Festival [Event]

Description: The village is festooned with decorations, many are phallic shaped and strings of peppers are draped over the doors of the peasants to wish for great fertility. The main event is the parade of samurai carrying phallic offerings to the shrines to be burned in a mighty pyre.
The samurai wear fundoshi and chant as they carry the offering through the streets and up the hill to the shrine to be burned.
Rules: Magic Allowed.
The samurai has two choices with this event, they can be part of a team of four or they can join an NPC team. If they are a player team of four they need to have a combined strength of 6 to carry the offering to the shrine, meaning add up their Strength scores and as long as it is 6 or greater they can carry the offering.
There are three roles that need to be filled, one player needs to be the Chant Leader, one player is the Step leader, and the final two characters provide the Endurance.
Chant Leader: The player leads the chant, this more like a meditation than song and requires a Meditation + Stamina at TN 15, and they can make Raises which add an additional Shrine point per raise. Failing this roll with raises increases the TN by 2 per raise called for the other members of the team.
Step Leader: The player provides the guidance of the steps they make while carrying the Offering. This is an Athletics + Strength at TN 15, and they can make Raises which adds an additional Shrine point per raise. Failing this roll with Raises means the team has issues carrying the offering, reducing Shrine points 1 per raise called.
Endurance Members: The player makes a Stamina check versus TN 5; success on this roll grants 1 Shrine point and every five points above that gains an additional Shrine point.
If going solo, they can fill the role of Endurance on another team.
Rewards/Outcome: If a Team scores 10 or more points the members earn Darling of the Court Fire Shrimp Village. If solo assume your team has scored 6 points already.
GM Note: Hida Kitusuchi is in the parade, Crane have first pick to be on her team of four. She will fill the role of Endurance on her team. If her team scores 10 they can opt for that reward or instead grant her the Blessing of Fertility, forsaking the reward but gaining .4 Honor for the sacrifice.
