Healing (D6, EE, Open)

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Oh, you would not pour for me?" Yuuwaku pouts slightly. "And after I would serve him at least three courses?"

[Otomo Saisei]

That... backfired. "Eto..."

He blushes, now, looking at all the, well... dicks around. Naughty, sinful thoughts strike back at full force, and Saisei tries to correct himself, "Chigau, chigau. I would pour... tea... sake. Of course! I meant, I don't want to be a nuisance and prolongue my stay."

The young man also tries not to wince. Three courses sounded very pleasing to the ear, though.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"My dear Otomo-san," Yuuwaku purrs, "were you at my table, I would hope to make a full evening of it. I would not be thought stingy with what I offer such guests, nor would I want them to be...unsatisfied."

The pout is gone, of course, and there is a gilnt in her eyes as she looks at him.

"When you are recovered, of course. Too rich a meal would strain an injured man."

[Otomo Saisei]

He blinks a bit more and the thought of recovery gets even more important.

"Recovery." He says, and looks to the shrine, "I should find a monk to tend to these wounds."

Mentioning, so, the Otomo starts to mention he'll lift up to do so.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Do you need assistance, Otomo-san?" Yuuwaku stands, ready to aid as she can.

[Otomo Saisei]

Still rather crippled, he would be insincere if he said otherwise. "I... would be honored."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku nods and, perhaps a bit awkwardly, moves to get her arms under his from behind, helping him rise.

She's got experience, of course, helping men get up. And it shows.

[Aji]

Aji attends to the man quietly.

[Otomo Saisei]

"I am so very grateful, Aji-san." He bows to the monk, and takes a package with both hands to offer. "Please, accept this offering to the temple."

The Otomo unfolds the cloth and there's a golden statue of Hantei-kami.

[Aji]

She accepted it, after the game of offers, and said, "Hantei-kami is an honored ancestor no matter the state of the dynasty we are honored."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku nods, having stood back to watch everything--and to aid Saisei, did he need it.

[Otomo Saisei]

He gets a bit better. Crutches potentially not being necessary anymore by the end of the day. He does looks to Yuuwaku a bit when he tries to lift himself up.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

She moves over to assist him, saying "Otomo-san, if you would walk with me."

It lets him save a little face, at least.

[Otomo Saisei]

"It would be an honor." He smiles, holding any pain, and bids farewell to the nun.

As they walk, he says, "Who would say I would be carried out of the a shrine filled with, well, fertility statues, by a Crane maiden. This is surely a story to tell."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Carried, Otomo-san?" Yuuwaku shakes her head. "Clearly not. Rather, escorting me and helping to ensure I remain safe."

She smiles.

"As you know."

[Otomo Saisei]

He clears his throat and nods, looking at her, "Hai. Clearly. Too dangerous to leave a jewel so valuable such as Kakita-sama unaccompanied."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku laughs.

"You are so skilled with that tongue, Otomo-san," she says. "I would love to see what all it can really do."

[Otomo Saisei]

As they walk down the path of the mound, the tall Otomo takes a couple of steps ahead to get lower in the staircase and looks eye-leveled to the Kakita. He raises his eyebrow at her challenge and...

... sticks his tongue out for her, sarcastically.

Saisei starts chuckling at his childish jest.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku laughs, as well.

"Well," she says, "that's one way to do it, certainly!"

Then, arching an eyebrow, she says "And it does have a certain charm between the lips, your tongue."

[Otomo Saisei]

He puts his tongue back into his mouth to say, "Never thought someone would compliment my tongue.... but... ahm... I wouldn't confront a Crane about topics concerning charm."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku grins again.

"Deft with your words, indeed. It makes you fun company."

[Otomo Saisei]

He stays there, looking at her for a moment, and then asks, "Your turn."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"For what, Otomo-san?"

[Otomo Saisei]

He narrows his eyes, and says, "I was silly. Please, do something silly, too. Else, you may use that against me. It is unfair. Isn't courtesy the virtue of the Crane?"

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"I would never accuse Otomo-san of silliness," Yuuwaku says, "but I do not know that I could match such cleverness. Though I might have to show you the cunning I have."

She smiles sweetly, and for a moment, crosses her eyes.

But only a moment.
