Description
The Fertile Mounds shrine is located on a cliffside overlooking the waters with many trees and stone steps to break up the many dozens and dozens of stone phalluses that dot the shrine. The central shrine area has a modest sized square structure with a living space for the monks and nuns and a place to leave offerings. There are perhaps a dozen at best at any time here.
