[D1 EE] There are no things like ghosts!

Tetsuo held his kama in his hands as he moved on the sands. There were rumors of ghosts at night, so obviously he needed to come and take a swim, like the fearless hero he is!
But first...time to scout!
No ghosts here.
Or there.
"Meh."

"You looking for something Yoritomo-sama?" she asked, walking out onto the sands and stepping toward some ten feet or so off to the right from where Tetsuo was. Resting against her leg the bottles strapped to her waist jingled against one another. Each note a little quieter than the last once there and she stopped to look out toward the waters.

"Figured I'd take a swim, just wanted to check out for ghosts. Seems like superstition though." He gave a firm nod to himself. "How do you find the village Yoko-san?"

"Lively," she said, glancing over her shoulder toward him. Resting her hands down on her waist as she stood. "Though-" she chuckled "- I'm rather certain that's not because of the village but the festivities, eh? Crane and a Crab gettin' married and all. Maybe there are ghosts here, hmm? They all just fled cause of all the hubbub" she smirked, teasing a little in her tone.

"Maybe all the noise ran them out?" He shrugged. "Lively it is. I guess we should be happy, Crane and Crab getting closer."
He seemed thoughtful. "Maybe we can finally let loose. The journey here was long with the guests and all."

"I remember a few nights letting loose," she said, smirking her cocky smirk. Glancing out over the waters a moment before stepping out twice and digging a heel deep into the sand. Pivoting on that dug heel she looked back toward Tetsuo, "At least, ai really hope that's your definition of letting loose," she laughed.

Tetsuo smirked. "Nah. Gotta keep the storm reigned in, at all times. Most people can"t handle the storm."
He throw his kama in the air, catching it as it fell. "How'd you like the crew Yoko-san?"

"Best folk I ever spent a boat trip with," she smirked that same cocky smirk again, "but then it was my first trip so," she left a pause before laughing. Walking backward now a few steps, giving a little more space. At some point she'd kicked off her footwear, and she walked barefoot through the sands.
""But no, you're a good lot. Happy for the time I spent with you all aboard. Good money and a good chance at food and bed for a while."

TEtsuo smirked, putting away his blades, eyeing the water. "Well, it coudl've been worse at least. You did well, for your first boat trip. Barely threw up, if I recall." He cracked his knuckles. "Wanna race?"

Yoko regarded him with a quirked brow. Locking her hand onto her hip. "Nah, I took to it well enough. Don't think I-" she brought up a hand, "wait, no that time doesn't count if I was drunk right?" she shook her head. "Nevermind, what's this about a race?"

Tetsuo smirked. "Well...were you that drunk? Truly?" He let out a laugh. "Let's see how can swim faster. Say....dunno. Do you see anything like a marker we can compare to?"

"Well, there was at least that one night.." the memory caused her to shiver a little. Shaking her head, "Yea, just the once. Harsh morning after that night as I remember but," she shrugged, "you manage through what you have to, yea?"
Looking around, "Not sure, maybe one of those rocks? What's got you in the mind for racing?" she laughed with the question.

Yoko's laugh came out as a surprise so that it sounded a little like a bark. "O-ohkay," she chuckled a bit more, nodded. "Alright, sure, lets do the race. You set the stage and we'll see who does it better? Faster?" she waved her hand, wasn't important. Glancing about she found a nice patch of sand just like all the other patches of sand to place her things. Taking the extra time when laying down her things to give them the respect and care they deserved, making sure nothing wound up broken.
"Call it, I'm ready," she said, giving a nod with her cocky smirk.
