Pulling both her swords with a smooth motion Naida set into a kata, a series of cuts, feints, parries, and back steps that was an athletic form made possible only with two blades, somewhat reminiscent of the Hiruma Slayers or Ujina if those were more familiar. The sand simply seemed to be a natural part of the motions, footing always impeccable and some sprays of sand even seeming to be incorporated into strikes.

“Ah, yeah. I like sea shells that end up on the beach. You gotta dig around for them, though.” She reached into her pocket and grabbed the shell, taking it out to show the ronin. “They’re neat.”

Stepping over, Yoko leaned in a bit to take a look at the shell she smiled and shook her head a little, "Fun little hobby," she chuckled a bit. "Pretty little thing," she raised back up proper, put her hand on her hip. "Been collecting them long?"

Shitoru watched intently, mostly paying attention to the movement of her feet, then her hips, then last her shoulders and hands. He seemed quite satisfied when he bowed in thanks after her kata ended.

"Eloquence is necessary when judging such movements, Kitsuki-san", he answered with confidence. "Is there a gesture I could offer otherwise?" He shook his head, clearly not. "Though I will do my best, should my lady have requests. You have seen some of my form, but perhaps we can come to a greater understanding another way."

He walked to stand across from her in the sand. "I'll seek no bloood, but would you honor me in showing me your stance?" And he bent at the knees, centering himself.

Naida had no problem with that really; There was a slight stigma against even the appearance of dueling if one was not actually doing so, with an actual katana. But Naida was never much for stigma's unless necessary.

Moving into a proper position, she put her hand on the hilt of her katana.
