In-House Cleaning [Day 6, Early Afternoon]

[Yoko]

Following the morning Yoko found herself with a need, a need to get something done and thus she found her way to Yue's side. Collecting her she walked them both out toward the farms. Supposedly the ronin they sought was out here somewhere.

Turning back to her companion she offered a little smirk, "So, you ready?"

[Yue]

So it seemed the day finally didn't repeat itself, it came as a welcomed surprise. If anything, it made Yue wonder if their ordeal was even real at all or perhaps some allergic reaction to whatever Crab sake was made out of. It seemed like the common denominator. Now that knowing there was going to be a tomorrow, that meant there were things to do and likely no second chances.

Yue nodded when Yoko went to get her, remember full well the offer that was given to her a while back. She would follow her, stringing up her bow in the process as this was apparently going to be a sure thing now. "As ready as I'll ever be."

[Yoko]

"Way I figure, we get the chance to prepare before he notices us I'll go in first, eh? See what I can figure out. You.." she paused a moment as they walked, regarding Yue for a moment. "Don't take this the wrong way, I figure you can from what you've said, being a hunter and all, I know, but do you feel alright with hiding back. Keeping an eye on it from afar," she said, gesturing to the bow.

"I want to make sure this is the right thing, and.. two armed ronin walking up might make him a bit nervous, eh? I trust you."

[Yue]

Yue said nothing at first as she narrowed her eyes, turning to give a glance around the surroundings. It might not be exactly here but it was likely the same sort of terrain. "Yeah, I can hang back if you need me too. It's probably for the best. Up close and personal isn't exactly my thing. What do you plan on doing exactly confronting him alone? He'll do the right thing and surrender?"

[Yoko]

"That's be nice," she smirked, shaking her head. "Just.. not sure, eh? Woman I got this job from is a good seeming sort, far as I can figure. Does her part for-" she brought up her hand and indicated Yue and then herself with a point- "those like us, eh? So, way I figure I can trust her word. Even then.. I still want to be sure. Wouldn't sit right with me taking a life without.." she paused, shook her head a little.

[Yue]

"It would be still good to cover all the angles, right? Nothing is ever so simple or really goes according to plan so easily," she nodded with another glance of her surroundings. This was the first time they were doing this, right? After what they had gone through and it seemed strange to just go about it business as usual but time was money.

"You'll be covered at least, he or they won't know that I'm even here," she nodded confidently.

[Yoko]

"Well, let's hope that it's just 'he', eh?" she said with a smirk, nodding in her turn. Giving a nod back toward the way they'd been walking. "Only thing to do now is to get to it. Since he's out here figure we find some farmers first, ask around, and then if it comes to some tracking well.." she looked back, smirked, "good thing we have you, eh?"

With another nod with her head toward the direction forward she'd set off toward figuring out where to find the man in question.

[Yue]

Yue raised a brow, initially having getting the impression that it was a guy. Perhaps, that was just her assumption in the first place. She merely nodded, it didn't really change much with the job. "I'm...a bit rusty at tracking anything other than hares and large rodents but I will be able to lend a hand. At least, a ronin is a larger target."

[Yoko]

"Doubt we'll need it.. sounds like he's the type that would hang around somewhere, well, with other people, eh? Though that'd be pretty story-book," she chuckled, shaking her head. "Nothing says villain like hiding out in a cave somewhere and coming into the farm and village to be a nuisance, eh?" she smirked.

[Yue]

"It's an amusing thought that villains would find themselves removed from people and easily detected as an insidious invader but I get the feeling that villains are typically found in the open. Unless they are a sort of ghost or some sort of day-repeating force...they are people," she said with a shrug.

"Unfortunately, people are found among people and they have friends and connections. So keep an eye out."

[Yoko]

"Always," she said, offered her tell-tale smirk and nodded. "Honest? I'm much happier to be facing something that makes sense. Leaves things between my skills, theirs, and whoever's determined to live longer," she held up a hand, pointed to herself, "which is usually me. I'm pretty determined," she smirked, looked to Yue with that natural expectation the humor would land.

[Yue]

"This is far more normal than what we've encountered in the last few days, that's for sure," she nodded in agreement at that, "although nothing's given...but my chances are with you at least, I know that you've survived this far, at least."

Yue gave her a faint smile although it was gone when she glanced of elsewhere as they walked on together.

[Dapper Dog]

They see a singular dilapidated farm house, with a broken wagon out front and a brutish peasant woman chopping wood near it.

[Yoko]

Yoko nodded toward the woman up ahead, quirking a brow, "Gonna go ask some questions, eh? Keep that eye out, eh?"

[Yue]

"Will do," Yue said simply enough as she stepped off the main path and kept an eye out on their surroundings.

[Yoko]

With that decided, Yoko walked her way up toward the woman. Raising her hand in acknowledgement the moment she looked out toward her.

[Dapper Dog]

The peasant said, "Whatcha want ronin?"

[Yoko]

"Hoping to ask some questions, if you don't mind?" she said, stopping some feet away. Placing her hand against her hip just above her sword while they spoke.

[Dapper Dog]

"Well ask, can't say I have a mind to answer," she responded warily.

[Yue]

Yue stood on standby while Yoko worked her social charms for information on their mark. In the meanwhile, she did her best to make it seem that Yoko was the only ronin here asking for information to make their footprint here smaller by hiding off the path.

Day 6, Early Afternoon: Stealth/Agility: 9d10o10k3 41

[Yoko]

"Asking about Umoji, a ronin who's out around here supposedly. Heard a thing or two about him, hoping maybe you could tell me more?" she asked, putting the thumb of her hand not on her hip in her obi.

[Dapper Dog]

"Well who's asking and why?" she responded.

[Yoko]

"Fellow wolf with an interest in making sure things are.." she paused, thought a little with the idea and then shrugged. "Well, I wanna make sure that everything is alright out here, eh? From what I hear he's the sort to make trouble, and a particular kind of trouble I'm not fond of. Hoping to see what I can do about putting a stop to that."

[Dapper Dog]
