"Have you ever seen a mountain on your journey, Amika-san?" he asked.

Amika nodded. '' This one has, Kuni Takeshi-sama. I crossed the Spine of the World in my journey here since my home town is Mura Minami Chushin near the imperial capital.'' She adds. '' The Wall is as big as those mountains?'' That would be impressive indeed.

"Sometimes." he boasted. "But rememebr back when you first saw the mountains. Their size and strength, how in awe you must've been seing them the first time. I had the same feeling when i encountered the wall the first time. Just the thought that this building has an almost endless length, fortress after fortress after fortress, the power, the blood and the sacrifice that made all this possible. And then the thought that the wall has not yet reached a point where it could be considered finished. Kaiu engineers have been working for generations to make the wall the best demon killing machine it could possibly be. If you like, the wall is alive, with every samurai that patrols, works and cares for it." he told her with a deep respect for the wall

Again Amika somewhat shivered when the Kuni mentioned demons, now she began to understand the rumours that the Kuni were not particularly keen in keeping topics on a polite way.

But nonetheless she was interested in what he was saying. '' Interesting, so fortresses akin to the Mountains. That seems like a blessing from earth kami.'' She commented. '' So your estemeed Clan keep the border by managing such an impressive structure. You see i have been asked to make a mural of Hida-no-kami in all his glory, commanding your honorable samurai to victory at the Wall. So i'm currently researching about it...''

'' I heard about the stories and such, but hearing first handed from someone that has seen it, is far more objective than putting my own flawled interpretation of it.'' Amika was starting to get a picture of how she will paint the mural.
