[Day 6 - LE] Noh is the Thing

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He smiles slightly, removing the fan from his face at least with a heavy blow for air. "It would do well for us to see if our hosts liked the piece after it was played."

Yuuwaku nods. "And we."

He smiles faintly again, thinking of doing something bold and stupid but giving up on the thought to look again at the closed curtains. "It would be a noh piece if my memory serves me well..."

[Oturi Yuahime]

Yuahime arrived in a nice kimono gifted to her by the Crab, it was a of fine make though the style a bit outdated by Crane standards.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Not much of late... After our eldest brother's death we have separated somewhat." She sighed. "He seemed to be like a father to most of us. With father traveling around, he was the one to keep us in line."

We should make a family reunion and get everyone together and see if Kaze kun and Toryu... Celebrate Kiko's gempukku. I wonder what name she will take.

"We are close to an auspicious event though... My sister is going through her gempukku in Shiro Kuni."

"It seems a fine time to gather the family, if possible." Shouji mused. "I take it your younger sister was trained as a priestess though?"

At least the seemed likely with a gempukku among the Kuni."

[Kakita Masao]

Kakita Masao attends the play in the best clothes he has with him, though his hair style is probably controversial with his clanmates. He looks carefully neutral as he arrives, taking some stock of who's present and who isn't, and his on turns imperfect at some of what he's seeing.

Rather than do anything at the moment, he heads toward a seat away from any drama.

Daichi wasn't really one for plays most of the time and he doubted what the Crane put on was going to be anything he found terribly interesting but the big Crab was there seeing as how most of his family was as well he figured it wouldn't be the worst thing.

The warrior was dressed in a nicer kimono than usual in Crab colors looking every part the dutiful samurai except for the vaguely bored look on his face as his eyes scanned the area.

Naida scoots over in her box and peers into Daichi's.

"You look absolutely thrilled to be here. Not quite as nice as a hot soak, hm?"

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Yes... we are hoping she becomes a spirit hunter and help spirit pass to the realm it belongs." She smiled. "I know Kiko chan will make the family proud."

"A noble calling." They could of used such a woman here. "One that will help prevent unfortunate incidents like the one that happened here."

"I wish her luck with it, though if your faith of her is any indication she has skill enough not to require such a thing."

Dressed in his best, yet rather unflashy hakama and double layered kimono with a haori, the young Otomo drags his body to the play with the help of a pair of bamboo crutches. He has a scarf around his neck and up to his nose, yet his eyes are still bloodshot red.

Taking a seat at the back, he waits patiently while trying not to call attention. He had failed earlier at court in doing so, anyhow.

He's been quite interested in wolves this trip, she thinks.

"Saisei-san," the Kakita says quietly, dispensing with bows to draw less attention, "I pray the Fortunes you're well, but you'll forgive me having doubt that you are."

They allow the wolf, Yoko, to enter with minimal fuss.

He opens a smile and welcomes the discretion, "Masao-sama. Thank you for the concern once more. I am better. I did rest some... yet there's some things I'll need to recover still. These recent news are very sensitive, and I duty bids me not to stand idle."

Taking another breath of air, he asks, "How has the day been so far?"

"Seems I'm with you then?" she says, parting herself from the guards and stepping over toward Sanaharu. Quirking her brow as she regarded him a moment. Hooking her thumb in her obi she glanced back from the direction he came. "Suppose that means you've something to say, or something to ask, eh? So.. all yours," she chuckled, shaking her head a little.

[Kakita Masao]

Taking another breath of air, he asks, "How has the day been so far?"

Masao draws his fan and flips it open, grimacing once his face is unseen to anyone but Saisei.

"After you departed this morning, I intended to speak to your cousin, Otomo Yusuke-sama. We were interrupted by an unpleasant Mantis and I removed myself, lest we need to take up a matter of honor at my cousin's wedding. But I am confident that the Mantis did not mean your cousin well."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"That our art is so sought is a compliment to the Academy. Besides, art is perceived differently by a courtman and a wolf. I would be most impressed if you got to see plays like this, specially on this land, often." He bows slightly. "Please enjoy our hospitality. You may search for a seat."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku watches Sanaharu interact with the ronin.

Oh, no, she thinks as she hears what sounds like a dismissal. Don't just throw her aside like that, Sana-kun! At least talk for a bit!

"Well, you're kind Asahina-sama," she said, returning the bow at the very least so none would think her being ungrateful. Glancing about a bit already, she started with making some plans. "I'll try to enjoy it the best I can, eh? Here's to seeing what kind of impression it leaves on a wolf. Maybe I might even leave here refined?" she teased the thought, brought her hand up and waved it down a little to indicate the humor intended.

Waving it off, "But I'll let you get back to your business, eh? Thanks again," she said, a small smirk.

He looked around for a possible seat to indicate. Masao was there, Shouji as well, he noticed. This could be a move to intimidate or to reveal their position. It was not a good time. Not right now. Later, though, would surely backfire. He seized what time had given him. "There looks like a good position for a seat... Although your friend is there, the Mantis. You seem to accompany him quite some, and he mentioned you as ship crew. I guess you have been working for him for quite a long time?"
